That kit is like £35 from Adam, I bought it thinking it was just the needed parts for securing the pads, I very much doubt you will need most of it (pointless)
Its really abrasive, it puts micro swirls in the paint and can be seen on easier on certain metallic colours.
If your familiar with polished bliss the lead detailer there used so much t-cut by hand on his saxo (before he was a detailer) it turned pink, it was metallic red/wine.
Test for you.....use t-cut in the brightest sun you can find with the panel facing said sun and look at the scratches it puts on the panel.
A breeze block has better correction.
I'll be safe to leave my slip at home but same applies ;)
Haha lol'd at breaking.
Its looking like the first dry day I have been too as well, 1:03's? (Just jinxed the weather there ain't I)
Swapped out the gearbox and clutch from the racecar on Saturday for the upcoming track days this fri and sun. Its back on the standard inlet and the RS2 is sold.
Finally fixed my glass rattle with a cable tie through the slider guide.
Just needs fuelled, gbox oil changed and full spanner...
Yeah as Said Kelv I don't see how they make a massive difference anyway (although I bought years ago fir the racecar) to how the engine moves, the engine pivots off the top one and gearbox replacement and the dog bone and the 2nd gearbox mount do all the rotational holding IME.
Don't dismiss standard wishbone bushes when you can get complete wishbones (ball joints inc) from Renault for £60 a piece. Powerflex dog bone is a must though. Powerflex ARB bushes do nothing, if your standards aren't worn out then don't bother IMO.

Spray every ignition and fuel connection with WD40, always sort's my misfires I usually get after a track day. Worth a try and takes a bad connection out of the equation.

No I'm pretty sure there is no comeback to that really. I seen Dom Littlewood do a episode on it, same goes with most 2nd hand products. Sometimes a too detailed advert can go against you.

Its all about the add/receipt with a private seller and you do have rights if its not as advertised.
You get proper stuff for it but a little rub with wire brush where possible and then wd40 and work any suspect plug in and out, you want to see some shiny lines on the pins of plugs and that's so you know they have been scrapped by the connecting plug which shows a half decent connection.
Yes shims but I would do as I said above first as in reality it could just be slight buckles on wheels, worn wheel bearings and a multitude of other things throwing out the readings. You can adjust with shims when you know the car is driving straight and the alignment is in a good ball park.
Its your drivers side rear that's off, it should be around what the left is at.
FYI there is a difference between balancing a wheel (like you said) and checking for buckles. Buckled wheels balance up but when some types of gauges are installed to set alignment it will obviously throw off the...
Has your mechanic checked for wheels buckled, I doubt he has. That's a very common thing to throw out alignment when trying to set it.
Your front alignment isn't bad except the camber which shouldn't cause any wandering as its only a 3rd of a degree different. I bet they have set the steering...
I finally sorted this today, my rattle was coming from when the window tilted forward allowing it to come out of the door channel within the door and rattling against that.
I refitted the pictured clip a few times now which stops the window from tilting but it kept coming off due to my wind...
Yeah its no Audi sport works car being RHD and built by him/mates but it does have all the uprights, drivetrain and so on. A lot of the auxiliary stuff was custom too as you just can't get a hold of it. That one in the video looks to still have the full group b spec engine which will never be...
The cars a little tatty up close but it can be expected for a gravel car, been a few years since it was refreshed. If I get a run in it today that will make my month lol.
Lawro, always wanted one but never got round to it. I will get one sometime after I have room along side my mint mk2 Escort...
Just the little oval/circle shape things you must of removed will fix it.
Mines exactly the same and I don't notice it when sat in but some do, my heads not screwed on straight though so that's probably why
