Its not really any different to any belt change except all pulleys are keyless, its all hyped up too much on here. Take your time clean all mating faces of pulleys and all will be good. When complete if the engine is rotated several times and the locking tools slide In then job done no need to...

I have just bought a set of RS-R's for a trackday in 205/45/16 £293 delivered to a local tyre fitters after murdering a set of Hankook S1 evo's in 10 minute sessions. Those who have had experience with them seen the cracking sidewall problem and also how did they wear on track...
Lol at some comments in here, You can put whatever oil you want really. A fully ester based oil is probably the best or something with a higher heat rating would give peace of mind like 5w-50 10w-50
PM Yanoo on here first like you have probably read already or use his website

I would get rid of your b&m kit to begin with and replace it with standard as its longer and also do the linkage mod while your under there. It will be ten times...
I know. If your going by the book then its needed when you tension the belt. Like I said above you can just about get away with it 'IF' the timing is right to begin with. Being pikey it is more than possible with the horseshoe out, put it in after to check.
Re: Road/Track 172
Top job Neil, I have a bonnet, boot and two doors for you....please.
Did you do inside and out and how did you find them to paint? Did they take a load of paint being porous FG?
'IF' the timing is right to begin with you can just about get away without the cam locking tool, if you need to re seal the cam cover its a needed for sure.
I was of the same impression as you to begin with, having done loads of different timing belts I thought I could get away without. Cam...
Yeah seen them before, colin satchel is a reasonble fabricator lol.
Are you sure its a rod, puegot selector is on top of box Clio is on the bottom, you would need some arrangement of shafts to do similar. Cable sounds more viable.
Yeah I have been, they have an equal length manifold in testing just now too.
You have clearly never tried it or know whats involved, its far from a bodge. Remove one nut, slide off linkage, trim selector and refit. It makes the gear change so much better and I would recommend any Clio owner...
You want the yanoo 'fast road shifter' about 35mm longer than the original and then you cut down the selector pin and it brings the gearstick back anything from 0"-4". You can do this mod without even buying the different gearstick.
So cryptic, do tell???
The Renault PDF f4r manuals are awful things, the ones I have anyway. The procedures and torque settings are all over the place. I took me a good while just to find all the torques I needed throughout the manuals.
