That looks absolutely stunning!
Chav? are you mad? it's painted white. Every time someone paints a clio white on here everyone wets their pants
Such a weird forum
Hahaha honestly mate - house move and furnishing has cost me thousands - and then the mapping & bodyshop bill. I'm broke for the next few months
Think i've found the perfect solution for the exhaust...
Thanks Dan - I think it was actually making that power around 7400rpm - and limiter is 7800rpm. Probably a little bit out on the rpm sync as you say. I love working with Phill though - at least I know the graph is genuine rather than tweaked to make good pub bragging figures :)
Lewis - I can't...
Mapping done :D
The end result was 194bhp and 154lb/ft torque - that was with a red hot engine as we'd been mapping all afternoon
It made the same power on it's first run after tweaking the map when it was cold - so we reckon if we let it cool down and ran it - it'd be around 200bhp
I...
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
Hahah no rush at all mate - I need to get it painted first. Making the floor raiser is on my list of "things I need to do 48hrs before anglesey" including fitting the interior loom, dash, seats, cage hahaha
£25 budget for childs safety but drives a 182
Parents these days have fucked up priorities - it's why they should have to apply for a child permit before being allowed to use their ****
I don't think you're quite thinking about "in case of an accident" - if you pile the passenger side into a tree the driver would get out and leave the people in the rear seat to die
I think it's probably worse only having one - as if you had 2 you could argue with the MOT place that there's...

Started catching up on this and as soon as I read about the sump I face-palmed
You really don't have much luck with it do you!?
Gutted for you - but hopefully it'll all be sorted soon. Still can't wait to...
They're certainly is - because my 106 failed for having fixed buckets and rear seats for exactly that reason. In a 3 door car with rear seats the front seats must slide and tilt forward.
If you remove the rear seats though it's MOT'd as a 2 seater so fixed back seats are fine
Or £19 if you prefer ebay -> http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PEUGEOT-406-COUPE-FRONT-PAD-PIN-KIT-BRAND-NEW-BREMBO-CALIPER-TYPE-/330723134373?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4d00a28ba5

BPF5002 - about £15
Identical calipers to 406 coupe and evo 6 by the way - obviously with slightly different mounts
He shouldn't - and I never said he should
The OP asked WHAT SUSPENSION FOR TRACK USE UNDER £1k
Sachs are out of the price range - billies arent adjustable - other sub £1k suffer from rust or poor build qualit - so I said spax
Jesus f**king christ - it's not rocket surgery is it?
Sach's is out of the £1k price budget for this thread
The adjustable suspension with the build quality I wanted were out of my price range - hence the bilsteins
In hind sight I should have saved for 2 more months and gone adjustable
The spax weren't available when I bought the billies or I'd...
Years Driving: 13
Test Passed: August 1998 I think?

Total CC: 11200cc roughly
Total Miles Driven: 250k+
Most Miles in One Car: 130K in my 106 quiksilver
Money Spent buying vehicles: £20k ish - probably 100k+ after modding
Points: none at the moment - had 9
Police...
That'd be a really good idea - could you clamp it up in the arch somewhere or to the shocker looking down?
I know they aren't supposed to stop horizontal flex - but feck it's a massive lump of steel bar lol
I think it would be the point where my 106 was down to 860kg and I had gone from spax to normal bilsteins but then had to buy group n bilsteins because I wanted stiffer suspension for track use - and was kicking myself that I'd got rid of my old spax setup because on that I could have just...
If you've still got back seats I'm pretty sure they fail it as the rear passengers won't be able to get out in an accident
There'd be no problem with it if you took the rear seats out
I literally can't understand how it's possible
The inside of that bush has completely ovaled and the whole wishbone is moving back and forth
How the f*ck?
The force required to bend back the ARB and deform those bushes to allow movement in the wishbone should be massive - but it's doing...
I am sooooo looking forward to this drive out - I'm hoping the weather is nice for it
Car goes in for mapping on Monday - so all being well the 200bhp beast will be out in full force for a play :D
What you and tommyl said is exactly what I was trying to get at - for 90% of people doing track days "pissing about" with suspension setups and getting faster lap times is the FUN part of track days
There are some rare people like Dave who just want to go and hoon it around and giggle when it...
How the f**k is your wishbone flexing back about 10mm?????
I wouldn't be driving that anywhere!
Also - best video ever posted - gopro?
I really can't understand why your wishbone is flexing back under acceleration - for a start the ARB should stop that as it's a fecking huge piece of...
