I drove the cup s in the morning and though the same felt very under powered, the trophy R last year was a weapon but this just felt strange.
My brakes felt fine all day but at the end of the day when I was changing my wheels over I noticed my pads were almost none existent about 1-2mm of...
Thanks for the good comments and pics @Alistair14
Even though it is only a track car I still want it to look it's best, it is always washed the next day after I have done a track day and has a machine polish once a year.
Just read this looks like you have a fantastic car Martin and I like the attention to detail with everything you have done.
You will have to take me out in it one of the days if we are at the same track.
I have the Halfords one, it fits the car perfect.
It will put fine scratches on if it is taken on and off regular or dragged across the car but unless you spend lots on a cover I think they will all be the same, I would have another one if mine got damaged.
They look good.
With there being so little clearance will you always be using the same pad as different manufacturers may be slightly different.
I have used a few sets of Dunlops and do find them really good but they are nearly slicks (will finish them off at Bedford tomorrow) and have a set of 888's to put on next to try as I got them at a good price, never used them before so will be good to compare them to the Dunlops.
I may try them...
I spoke to the one bloke at SPA when I thought my gauge was faulty and he was really helpful and replying to emails at 8 pm, he was even going to stop a bit later one night so I could take my car over to him to have a look at the issue and test the gauge.
 customer service, don't get that...
Decided today as it was dry to get the car sorted for Bedford the end of the month.
Gave it a oil and filter change, gearbox oil change and did the brake fluid as well, I hate working on the car in winter it was **cking freezing.
Thought I would try my new levitating jacking system out lol
Thanks, I was hoping you had found all the correct fittings, I have thought about one of these but would like to use ally fittings and braided pipe.

Are you going to fit the gauge in the centre vent?
I thought about moving mine at the weekend, sat in the car looked at it and thought sod it can not be arsed lol.
I would not mind remote mounting my pressure sensor.
Do you know where you will be getting the fittings and pipe from, I struggled...
Insurance is weird, the car could be insured in a really good postcode but you could then go and park the car up everyday in the worst postcode possible.
No mate have not done a thing, all money is going towards the new car atm, the only thing I will be doing is changing the oil and possibly steering rack bushes before Bedford the end of Feb.
I have the OMP subframes and just used the Renault spacers on the tunnel side and mine are level, height is not too bad but I have modified my Bimarco aluminium side mounts and now this is as low as I can get my seat any lower and it would be touching the subframe.
