Get it working and on track and it might bring the enthusiasm back, get Oulton RS day booked and that is something to aim for without rushing. Nice neat work with the wires

Steering wheel what you got ??

@leeds2592 I have one of these, it is really good if you don't want to remove the wheel with a quick release type and it gives you options for the amount you want to space it out...

    200T VS 220 Trophy

I have drove both the 200t and 220 trophy at Oulton Park and the Trophy is a massive improvement over the 200t but neither were as much fun or as quick as my 182, BUT this is on a track I would like to have a go with them on the road because I think they would be a nice car to drive also you can...

That is what would stop me getting something like this, it is a lot of car for your money BUT if something does go wrong it can cost more than the car is worth to fix.

    Boot pins fitted

Instead of cutting a big hole in the roof, drill a series of holes so grommets can be fitted to block the holes up when needed.

    Shared Ownership of a car

No, too much hassle. Buy your own it will be much better in the long run and you can do what you want to it without having to consult somebody else. Also what happens in the summer when there are very few trackdays on weekends due to racing and he wants to do trackdays in the week?

    Window regulator fixing advice

Not Clio related but thought it would be best in here. I have a Suzuki Swift and the spring keeps popping off the mechanism, I assume this is normally a press fit but it no longer stops in. I have tried drilling a hole through and I was going to tap it and put a bolt and washer on to stop it...

My BG 182 Track Car Build

Not done much for a while but fitted some catches to the boot today. As my boot would knock when going over bumps I decided to fit some pins. I have had them for about 4 months but finally got round to fitting them. I cut some carbon vinyl out to put under the latch to stop it scratching the...

As my boot would knock when going over bumps I decided to fit some pins. I have had them for about 4 months but finally got round to fitting them today, I cut some carbon vinyl out to put under the latch to stop it scratching the paint and used stainless bolts instead of rivets, not bad for £5...

    Aircon removal

I have a PMS one waiting to be fitted, with the early ones the bracket has snapped on a couple but Nick has now made it solid and iirc about 3mm thicker so it is a bit heavier but a lot stronger.
