The "as intended" bit is interesting - if its FIA approved track car and the seats must be fixed then I'm sure that's not classed as "broken" - it's as intended surely?
The May one does state that missing airbags or missing pre-tensioners are a failure
I'm not sure how an MOT person would know...

Mini-update
Bought an NGK narrowband lambda sensor which I'm gonna fit at the weekend as it would appear my Omex does have lambda control programmed in - hopefully that will make it a bit more economical on idle/low revs
Need to move my Wideband Controller to under the car so it can go in the...
Re: Bateseys 172..
Nice little project this mate - look forward to having a good look around on Sunday
I need a custom sports cat making for mine so let me know how you get on in Grantham :)
Mini update
Had a bit more of a play with the ITB's - tweaked the idle and my god it's perfect now - just sits at 950rpm instantly
I also remembered I'd had a little play with some options to make sure it wasn't running lean for first start - which might have been what was making it rich now...
I had same issue
One of the bolts on the arm came out and I swapped it for a brand new one - but the outer most bolt seems pressed in and wouldn't budge so I just left it there
Been fine all year
Good mapping is worth more than bodies LOL
I think i'm gonna skip the cams for this year after seeing this - got better things to spend the money on (like 888's and a week at the ring!)
Crikey. Think I might get mine mapped before I buy cams then
Was only hoping for 185-190 from mine but I've got same setup as you near enough
Are you on an omex?
Aye, I know a lad that works at catcams now so I might give him a ring and see what he thinks would work well
They've cancelled our overtime at work now though so I don't quite have as much free cash for the clio LOL
Still need tyres, airbox, filter, inside painting. It never ends LOL
My mate who runs G&G is a legendary mapper and luckily his unit and rolling road is less than a mile from my house LOL so it'll be going there
I'm just really tempted to put catcams in it before I pay to get it mapped
It needs a cambelt and dephaser anyway (I can hear my wallet crying again LOL)
IT'S BACK ON THE ROAD!!
Well yesterday was the day - got up nice and early to work on it with Leah helping (she's amazing)
Ran the wiring I needed for the oil temp and pressure gauges - they both work perfectly. It's really nice knowing when the oil temperature is high enough to start giving...
WHY?
The sandisk extreme is £17 - that's only just over £1 per mb. It's cheap but reliable, bullet proof and fast
The chinese replica/ebay shite is really awful
The differences between the PH2 kit and the PH1 kit - is the PH1 kit has an extra little bracket on the end to hold the fuel cut-off switch, AND it comes with a different throttle cable bracket to move the throttle cable down slightly or it will hit the strut brace
