A non sport rack should fit but you will have to swap your track rods and ends over I would think, you will know when you lay them side by side. The 1.2 racks mount with 2 bolts and sports mount with 4 iirc
I don't know if you saw this thread Chip but I can't see them making a complete new design of subframe, they would just use different wishbone tabs.

I think its a case of Renault at there best again with the subframe thing. They say all wishbones are the same which has been proved wrong by people on here getting the correct number, buying and noticing the offset ball joint mount holes for more caster.
I think the same applies with the...
It appears to be more universal but will allow the ecu to be mounted internally which is a good idea with the 600 as its not waterproof.
I have 2 pics that I took when checking the fitment, any excess will be coiled internally and secured to bulkhead instead of in the engine bay.
And this...
AST 3's are best they sell but AST 2's are more than good enough for clubman racing and both 1, 2's and 3's are one piece coilover iirc.
If you want anything more then your looking at proflex, ohlins, Bilstein (NOT B14's) which are all in the 2.5k upwards bracket.
I thought this had been covered Dan, they are tight to get into the arms and on the car. Suspension parts just don't fall onto a car sometimes im afraid mate, some force required. And yes I would advise welding of the collars with the new style bushes even though though the collar is thicker...
Its just the stub axles that are a different thickness's, you should get away with the complete beam depending on your wheel offset. I would buy it tbh as you will get a wider track if it works, if not just swap the stub's over.
When the shaft and all suspension is fitted there will be some float/movement in the CV joints (constant velocity) at the inside and outside of the shaft. You only want enough to allow the suspension to go through its full movement including turning the wheels, too much and the shaft will either...
Your not going to need the canbus feature of gen90 so its a bit overkill for your purpose imo. Are direct to head bodies from jenvey and AT not a bit of a compromise to ITB's, genuine question?
I bought a used kit for £1400 on here which had seen its day really with omex 600, 45mm individual...
From what has been said on here, you will need the cup track rods and ends (renault only) but some have got away with FF track rod ends.
Shafts will be needed but afaik the phase 1 shafts are the 2nd longest shafts to the cup so you might get away with it. If you could measure float that will...
As far as I know they weren't strengthened shells other than the cage which was a 6 point floor mount matter item and an OMP front strutm brace that tied into solid top mount's. The shell's were stripped of all underseal and seam sealer to lighten. There was a Renaultsport strengthening kit...
Some nice bits on there. The only issue with what they sell for the Clio is it doesn't adjust the roll centre but allows camber\widening of track. At £440 they are quite expensive, then you would have to get them to make custom pins which is something they offer as well.
Its not that I don't understand it, I have just never looked too far into things mate.
If you look at a mk1 clio shell, it doesn't appear to change any except the outer panels and the rear wheel tubs. From phase 1 to 2 the adjustments in geometry have all been made with wishbones,subframes,hubs...
That's exactly what I have been trying to tell people to build.
If you took the end piece from your wishbone and welded it to the drilled piece on above picture, then all you need is a pin machining like you have done and a spherical. Much stronger than the threaded rod end as you say.
Have...
There's no doubt they do tend to move about a fair bit, the overboost doesn't help either the front washing out. I can pin my car (standard with conti 3's on front) through the gears and not loose traction, on the flipside I can get it spinning late into 3rd in the wet if I want. The 18's are a...
My 2 pence.
I own both and the Corsa is quicker on average, low down torque that the Clio dosen't have pulls out of corners. The Clio is more nimble but the Corsa can still be pushed pretty hard without "torque steer" that's what an accelerator does, modulates power. The Clio "feels" quicker...
Not really clued up on anti dive etc etc etc, Im a grease monkey after all so "that will do" is my usual mantra lol.
I think trying to redisgn the wheel on a monocoque shell isn't really possible without severe sessions with a grinder.
Get your camber, caster, tracking, bump steer, roll...
Im probably being stupid but which one of those would convert lbs as in spring tension to Nm?
Basically what would the racers 1000lb fronts and 500lb rears convert to in Nm?
Im not sure how much the KPA is changed tbh but I would imagine there is an increase. the laguna hubs are larger as a hole, never taken any measuremnts from wheel mounting face to strut mounting holes.
As far as scrub radius, im unsure if its positive\negative....never checked tbh. With full...
Just for reference to you Dan, this is a cup racer setup.
The track rod end isn't fully tight in that picture.
I can't comment on what BIGASH and NORTHLOOP CUP are doing but if you just make up a spherical joint holder for the bottom arm and an extender pin to meet up with the standard...
Definite benefit to adjusting roll centre, there are a few on here trying it on here by different means at the minute. Best solution is to copy the cup racer design if your handy with a spanner and know a machinist.
On a side note I cant see how you are getting positive camber with compression...
The parts you have said above plus a fan to suit your small rad, you will need a deep backing plate to suit them 120mm trumpets and that filter. Omex 600 ecu as you have the wiring loom there to suit it. I wouldn't bother with a gen90 as you will need to adapt the standard loom to tie into all...
