His background is building cars as a hobby really, and now this is a sideline for him. He got fed up with tweeks and the like setting up his cars so got himself the Hunter setup. Hasn't been open long, but my Motorsport mates are starting to use him now.
Whiteline arb would certainly help the turn in, it certainly did with my car (on hard setting - never tried it on soft)
I quite like the rear to be quite loose/tail happy, but that's not to everyone's liking so an arb on soft might be a good start.
Tom has got the reinforced rear beam rather...
Maybe only watching, not planning on having the new car built and ready until August and the cup will be getting stripped to donate it's parts before long.
Looking at the proper hose and fittings you have bought, I wouldn't have any issues with fitting one under the bonnet.
Can even have issues with wheel well mounted pot. You can have a leak and fill the wheel well and have that sloshing around during a race, and even that can get warm with the...
I am looking at using alloy pipe for my fuel line rather than braided. I was quite surprised to see how expensive braided is now since the last time I used it.
Haven't you got enough room to mount a swirl pot under the bonnet?
Great pics.
I went yesterday with my boys and had a great day. I only paid 20 as I prebooked.
The Firenza on the rally stage was awesome. Nice to see a lot of the cars really trying rather than just cruising round.
I originally stuck mine on the dash of my Clio, but it kept picking up a rattle sound from the dashboard which was really annoying. I have since made a mount that bolts through the harness holes of the passenger bucket seat, then has a piece of alloy angle across to the middle of the car.
Dash...
First time there and did 2.10 in November 2013. Clio cup with 173k miles tired engine 131.3bhp @wheels, koni dampers, eibach springs, yellowstuff pads, standard interior except bucket seats, harnesses, different steering wheel. Kumho tyres.
Struggled with glazed brake pads and lack of power...
Towbar mounted Thule Eurocarrier, 3 bikes behind the car, no crap on the roof, tilts to still get in the boot, locks to car, bikes lock to carrier, no drop in mpg from drag, no crap on hands or roof from lifting dirty bikes. Bike rack removes in seconds.
Can't knock bikes off the roof when you...
On hard or soft it just didn't feel right, it was probably a bit better with the original standard cup suspension down the lanes, yet the konis and eibach springs have been great at Wigan, Prescot, loton park, Aintree, anglesey, Oulton and mallory which are all flat and smooth.
Yes I know you've been rallying for ages, but what actual events have you actually used b14's on, as I'm sure they would be great at Wigan or the prom stages, as would the konis I already have, but would they cope with proper lanes which are a lot more bumps and yumps such as event or the Manx...
