The rubber mounts on my hangers have perished. When Mike fitted my Milltek, he popped a hexagonal nut under each mount and tied them in with cable ties - worked a treat - and cheaper than new mounts too. :)
^ As above.
It's going to be pricey at your age tbh. I'm 26 and pay £385 fully comp :)
Try Adrian Flux, or Greenlight Insurance. Both are very good and extremely competitive - none of that comparison website nonsense either!
Spotted entering the Pets At Home car park this morning, as I drove out. It had a private plate and the most miserable looking woman driving it I've ever seen!
I bought one of these at the end of 2005. Its called a "deflector" and is part number 6000073775. It was £13.59 inc. VAT, although this was sometime ago. Hope this helps :)
My 04 plate 182 is on 62,000 now. Still runs as good as the day I bought it in 2005, a year old with 12,000 on the clock. The steering wheel has started to go a bit rough on one side and there's a few tar spots on the lower halves of the doors, but other than that I really can't complain!
I did similar damge to the underside of my car when I hit a Pheasant.
I think that they plastic undertray you're refferring to is the bit between the bumper and the sump cover. This bit of undertray appears to deflect air entering the lower grill through the radiator and stop it going around...
On Saturday evening about 21:30 ish. I overtook you and another car, then you overtook and followed at speed before I turned off and you flashed me! Always nice to have a little play on a great road! :race:
I had Mike fit Brembo HC discs and the Redstuff pads the other week. I had a similar setup before but with Greenstuff. 1000 miles later, I can say for definite that there is an improvement, and a little less dust too!
Check that the auto feature is activated - with the key in the ignition with all the dash lights on, turn your sidelights on and off, then repeat. It should beep at you to tell you it's done ok. Then start the car and cover the sensor to double check.
It's a NON endorsable £60 ticket for no MOT (so no points).
Sorry to hijack, but mine is due soon also, but my front tyres are pretty much on the wear markers. I've measured them with a tread depth gauge and they are apparently 2mm. Will it pass the MOT with my ad-hoc slicks or should I get...
I do the same as GTVLEW - Renault Bars and Thule Rack (although my Thule Rack is a bit different). Whilst on the subject, I do find that the Renault Bars do leave slight marks on the roof, even after cleaning the roof thoroughly before attaching the bars.
I use my 182 to commute - I do approx 50 miles a day to work and back. Personally, due to the route I take, which is all back roads, it's an awesome work-hack. The only issue I have is that the tank doesn't quite have the range to get me to and from work for a full set of shifts before having to...
I had a new Bosch rear wiper fitted at my last service. It also misses the very top section of the window. The problem is not with the wiper blade or arm, but with the shape of the windscreen. If you look at from the side of the car, you'll see that it curves in at the top, towards the...
