Um, because the dephaser is oil driven?

My first 172 was on the original dephaser at 145k when I sold it, never made a peep. I put it down to meticulious oil changes - always on time, never missed a service

Last one I had at Pod was my Black Ph1 on bodies, ran 14.2, but that was with half a tank, 26 degree heat, and it was still fully furnished inside - some sticky tyres, less fuel and some light strippage I'm sure 13's would have been easy.

I'd not want to be driving hard without a custom map - have you seen afr's mate? If they are aggressive cams I'd imagine it may be running lean. Oh and no to an rs tuner - pay for a proper custom map

What extra features do the higher models have? Is it just increased quality, or some more fancy stuff?

Unless you can get it made really cheap, i'd just buy one as they are cheap anyway. They don't do anything mind you, handy for tieing stuff to in the boot if you have the rear stripped out mind

I will just state that it is possible he kept with a 182 if said 182 had it's cambelt changed by someone who didn't know what they were doing. ( bear in mind probably half the 1*2's our there have incorrect timing)
