Its your car mate, as long as your happy with it, theres more to life than having an RS Clio. Having said that you only live once so stop talking about it and hurry up and get a ph-quick!!
Looks mint Jamie, I will drop you a pm after the exams as im considering the same set up on mine, and I want to know how much the fitting and setup cost ya! Im hoping to meet up with Sam (C.Slicker) in a few weeks and he said you might be around.
Let her drive it, but just be sure to set down some ground rules, like mind the wheels on kerbs, no smoking/ eating in the car etc As others have said its only a Clio.
As it stands at the moment could probably get £3800 from an enthusiast, but without been rude a standard expression with that year and miles is worth £3k tops.
Turinis are really popular for a reason!
EDIT: Changed my mind, the 172 5 spokes look alot better, mainly because you can't get a 172 in that colour. Nautical isn't that far off mondial, and the turinis make it look like a cup.
Mint, very jealous! I ve got a Tamiya TL01 (pretty basic I know) with an Evo 4 shell on it, but its knackered, rolled it a few times. May well get a new shell for it at some point, the chassis is 4wd, so i refuse to put the shell of a non 4wd car on it!
Apologies, I might of misread this and you weren't particularly clear, if its in your dad's name but you are down as the MAIN Driver, there is nothing wrong with that at all, perfectly legit. I was under the impression you were a secondary 'occassional' user on your dads policy and he was...
I ve been tempted by these Jamie, I assume you have non leather expression one like mine, its not worth it unless its a mint example with these steering wheel, and it costs over £100 to get them retrimmed.
LOL. Do a search my friend. If you crash the insurance company will doing everything they can to wiggle out, particularly if its a high profile claim. They interview neighbours to see who has been driving it the most they have even been known to put surveillance on the house to see who is using...
Not the ECU covering rattling mine was making a funny noise which was down to this. I very much doubt its the engine, theres lots of oil in there etc? If that was fcked you would notice a loss of power etc.
Obivously the IK is all on there tight, and all the hoses are on properly. If it was the...
They will offer you a silly trade in price on the Ka im afraid, if they offer you a good price for it, they won't take anything off the other end, i.e you will be paying full price for the 182.
I agree with why you want to buy from a dealer (personally I wouldn't), but I would recommend selling...
Limiter is 6200rpm on the 1.2 16v there is really no point in taking it abover 6000rpm and i only nudge that once every now and again, every day driving my car doesn't see more than 3200rpm I wouldn't imagine.
And to those making comments about 17mph in first, and down a big hill etc, grow up...
:) Thought I recognised it, last time I was over there I was doing my Duke of Edinburgh award at college! Its very pretty round there, apart from the nudist beach, which isn't!
Car looks spot on, they look so good standard.
