    what makes you think that? think you're thinking about mineral oil on old engines? Cant see why you couldnt run a fully synthetic on a new engine - its just a fully manufactured oil, purposely made to serve its purpose.

    Ph2 centre caps security advice....

    personally i'd be inclined just to glue them in, i've never had to remove my centre caps ever. Otherwise you could do something with the clips to stop the caps coming off. Depending on what wheels they are, you could maybe just leave them off and it'd look ok.

    yip, heres why. You can put a ph2 172 front on a non sport ph2. You can put a non sport ph2 front on a non sport ph1. You can put a ph1 172 front on a non sport ph1. So they're all the same really.

    lol jimbo, i can barely turn my alternator pulley by hand... and thats without a cambelt. Its quite stiff even using a spanner to turn it. Cambelt snapping just means the camshaft and water pump stop turning. Someone with little experience will have no idea how hard a pulley should be to...

    you're best leaving the standard discs on the rear to be honest, for all the braking they actually do. Front bearings are in the hub carrier, rear bearings are on the disc - which is what makes the discs so expensive, the design.

    anti corrosion warranty's have terms usually. One of those terms is that you take it to the dealer on a set period for a paint inspection. Chances on actually having renault fix your paint for you after even three years is SLIM imo.

    i'd normally have said that the fuse for the left side sidelights was blown, but that wouldnt explain why the sidelights come on with headlights. Car out of warranty? may be a problem with the UCH :(
