Yesterday my 182 developed a problem. When i first start the car the abs tcs and service lights come on and stay on. if i turn the engine off and start again then they go out. Theres no fault codes and i tried disconnection battery to see if that reset anything. Car runs fine.

is that an expensive and difficult part to change?

No no no Filling till its flowing out of the breather is way over filled! The correct level is when it comes out of the hole on the front of the box which is covered by a plastic butterfly nut.

Its rated to -22c in its pre mixed state anyway so don't worry about it. Last year was one of the coldest ever and it only hit around -17 iirc Also if your doing a full flush then the colour difference makes no odds anyway.

Its just ive seen one on ebay that comes with the ph1 bend aswel but if its going to be a hassle fitting the oil return pipe ill just get the box and use my bend. when you say tight fit, is it tight as in it is likely to put unnesesary (forgot how to spell lol) stress on something?

if i buy a ph1 box does it have a hole for the oil return pipe or whatever the other pipe is which goes into my ph1 box bend?
