When I had my decat I just unplugged the lambda sensor and it was fine.
My engine management light came on.
An your mate is talking crap, I've got the same exhaust and when I decat it the volume almost doubled.
You might struggle to get one on now your mate has welded the reducer sleeve in place as the ktr decat for this system just slots into the centre section
Most decat pipes have a hole for the lbda so just swap it out

Mine sounded absolutely crazy with decat pipe on so in the end I put the cat back on.
Pretty much all decat Pipes will fit unless you get an exhaust specific one such as the millteks and ktr ultra performance as they...

I might aswel go decat because my crappy vortex cat doesn't seem to pass emissions anyway lol but its just the volume that annoys me and the standard joint is crap.

I've recently installed some 13cm speakers ad fully deadened the doors and amped them from my Phoenix gold tantrum but I'm just not happy with the kick so gonna save up for some 6.5's
Did you have to cut the metal on the door aswel or do they fit in the old hole ok aslong as you use mdf spacers?

Rs inlet manifolds are inlets which tend to be found on all 182's and most 172 cups. They are made better than non Rs ones so don't see as much of a gain from matching the inlets.

The olive joint seriously annoys me on this car at the cat to center section joint. The fact it seems to blow alot and also that it drops down to 2" restricting flow.

Depends how loud you want it mate. You need to weight up weather the tiny bit of added performance is worth how f**king loud it is with a decat.

I can see 2 things there that dont look right. There is no manifold to cat springs, it looks like someone has just tried bolting it to the manifold with random nuts and bolts.
And also whoever has fit your exhaust has not...
Rang renault up the other day to see how much a manifold to cat kit is and they wanted 40 for it.
Is there any other kit that is as good but cheaper?
I used the nwp kit and it leaks unless i do the springs up fully tight which cant be a good idea.
I do it myself as to be honest I'll probably be keeping the car a while anyway so by the time I sell it having some stamps won't really make it worth much more.
I do a big service at least once a year and oil every 5k so at least I know my engines ok lol. Low resale value will give me less...
