Yeh because when the engine gets hot the water expands and the level will rise so if it goes too high then I'm not sure what will happen lol but there's a max for a reason.
I'd empty it give it a flush and replace with some halfords advanced red coolant or the green Renault stuff.
Sorry I...
Mine failed last year on emissions and the guy passed it anyway on the dodge.
But I got it on the diagnostics a few weeks later and it was running perfectly fine. So I can only assume it was the shitty vortex cat the previous owner put on.
One of my anthracite 182 wheels is kurbed to hell. How much would i be looking at paying to get it back to a haf decent condition? Doesnt need to be amazing.
IN rotherham/sheffield area if anybody knows anybody
dont expect much peak increase mate, however your mid range power will be much more useful, instead of the kick at 5k it just pulls much harder from around 3k upwards.
decat , remap and a pannel filter are about the only mods worth doing unless youve got a grand or 5 to go down the cams, itb, turbo or sc route.
these engines dont benefit from induction kits so a waste of money.
I've got one, supersports. Sounds great not too loud unless you decat it. Fit was spot on didn't have to bodge the mounts or anything. Performance, same as any other exhaust you can put on. Weighs alot less than standard tho
Jack up front and put it on axel stands and then just put the jack under to take a tad of the weight under the gearbox.
Burn or wack out the old ones and push the new powerflex ones in by hand.
Done.
My gf's 1.2 is having an issue where it keeps thinking the doors are open so when the car auto locks, 2 mins of driving later itl unlock because it thinks that the doors have opened.
I've unplugged the switches from each door an it still does it, so it's not the switches sticking.
Is there...
Could you not just cut the wire and solder new one to the wire you cut?
I know it's a bodge but surely it'd work if your seriously strugglying to get to the clip
Well I've cleaned the tdc sensor and disconnected and reconnected the battery and it does seem to have fixed it. Not going to get my hopes up just yet tho lol
From what I've read they make little difference compared to a normal decat.
Why don't you buy the sleeved decat and then buy the sports centre section? Will sound very nice.

Just started happening today.
If I'm coming to a stop and put it in neutral or just rev the engine then it will drop to almost no revs for about 10 seconds and then settle unless I blip the throttle.
It's quite worrying as I don't fancy it hapening pullin out at a junction.
Engine seems...
Like he said. Renault will cost you close to 1g. A good after market will be about 300 and be of better quality and sound better.
Don't worry about performance, there won't be any dofference
