i know alot of it is placebo effect but i recently put my cat back on and it doesnt feel as grunty at the top end. This could however be due to the fact the cat which is on it is some crappy vortex cat that previous owner put on it, and not the renault which is meant to be very good.

How about a ktr sports version with mid silencer? I've got one with no mid silencer, sounds nice with the cat in, loud as f**k with cat out. The one with centre silencer is quiet and has a nice tone. Build quality and fit are both great

Yeh ano what you mean. What I did was put it all on and leave the clamps loose, started the engine and gave it A few revs to get everything into place and then tightened the lot up.

lol yeh its a joke renault prices on the cats init. Glad your happy with the system anyway, it go on ok? I wacked mine on in about 10 mins and got a perfect fit with no arsing about with mounts etc. Did you go for the ultra performance or normal janspeed? Supersports or sports?

Well the scratches are like White so I assume all the paint has been removed so polishing it won't improve? How much would i be talking for a proper job done?

Got quite a few scratches on my drivers side from careless people. Tried all sorts of polish and waxes but they are just too deep. Will it look a complete **** up if I masked it up and gave a very light spray of black gold rattle can over it and then polish it to try and blend it?

Well on mine the front lambda Is on the manifold and the other on the cat. The one in the cat does naff all and the car runs without it. However if your saying both holes for yours are nackered and both in the cat then you at least need the front one sorted and plugged in

Is this different on 1.2s Danny? I ran my 182 with a decat that didn't have a lambda hole so I just unplugged the lambda from the car and it ran perfectly fine Edit. Sorry didn't realise you said both holes are stripped, so I assume that on a 1.2 both lambada are on the cat pipe.

It's cost you about 1g to get them mapped and fitted so by then your halfway to a ph1172 and with the money you sell your 1.6 for then you could afford one.

Just to add to this, I put my cat back on today and even with my straight through ktec supersports it's boringly quiet now ha. With the decat it sounded like a rally car. I'll be putting it back on when I get more sociable hours at work and if no1 buys it.
