What were both cars doing before any work? It's well documented that each car can have a wildly different bhp figure for the same model. Difficult comparing one car with another, even same model.
The Pipers are a bit 'rattley' by all accounts too.
I've finally got round to opening my closed air feed to the Venom IK. The feed now blows the colder air across the face of the filter opening. The feed and filter meet at right angles.

There was a discount token in Max Power or Fast Car recently (within last two issues) for a bodyshop that had done some work on one of the mag's cars. A full respray was around £650 I think.
I actaully want the side air vents. I've seen black/dark grey dashes on these early mk2s. I need the Renault model code so I can order them from Renault. Apparently saying Mk1 ph1 clio means nothing to a renault parts dept. Need a 4 letter code from someone's car id badge, not vin no.

does anyone own a mk2 ph1 standard clioapprox s-x reg. I need the Renault code for the model something like CBOM, especially if you have a dark coloured top dash.

If this is possible, what resistors do you need for the airbag light to stay off once the standard seats and steering wheel have been removed? I know I could take the bulb out, but thta will leave the service light on won't it?
What parts do I need to relocate the battery to the boot other than these:
battery box
+ and - cable - what size/capacity?
terminals
protective tubing for bulkheads
