I'd got for them (a deceint set minimum) because no aftermarket stand alone dampers are IMO and good (same goes for much of any aftermarkets stuff realy damper/coilover/springs/brakes etc) and worth the money.
Coilover have the best dampers realy as there more expensive as such and are designed...
Personaly I'd never use just lowering springs. I'd go get some replacment dampers and springs the only semi decinet stuff is coilover FK being the lowest realy at £420 or so.
I you do want just spring then Eisbach would be my choice.
Well you sounds quite mechanicaly minded must be a fair old spec on that 1.6 I know the respond well but that good going.
Best way to tune depends where your wanting to spend the money personaly suspension and brakes are more important get them how you like unless you wan a drag car...
Stock throttle body size wise is fine individual ones is one option plus good gains.
Persoanly for a "cheap" gains on a 172 I'd go down this route.
Manifold matched
Panel filter
Decat/sports cat
Exhuats if yours is broken or personaly get an extra bracket welded onto the stock one to...
They only did one 172 Cup there no phase 1 Cup.
Prices well you can get them for anywhere between £4k and £7k Dpeds on milage there one for £4.7k on the trader with a dealership with 90k on the clock. You can get cheaper crashes repaired ones (they do crash a lot).

True group N by true definitial means near stock remap just modified for the racing exhaust and intakes there allowed to use to ensure good AF mixtures etc
A true group N doesn't exist for the phase 2 cars though. There just a stockish map with uped limiter often made for a car with an...
1 liter from top to bottom on the dip stick make sure your checking when cold will do damage massivly overfilling it.
10-40 or 5-40 is fine semi or fully sync doesn't matter idealy IMO change all the oil and keep using one type not that it matters though.
Its thw way often stuff is. The poster said cat back won't fail MOT and they can and do.
You need to spend a lot on suspension to get a good setup beyond stock
Ok those three black ones on the right (not sure in which order since its a non-normal wiring that)
Fan low speed with air con
Starter
Injectors locking
There all 20Amp but as said not sure which order unplug the top one if the car doesn't start then thats the injectros the next is starter...
Its not the genuine Renault one.
Stock Renault is £10 or so I think for the leather and £5 for the plastic type one.
Cannot comment on what i think its up to you wheather you like it.
Personaly the stock setups fine for road use no trouble at all.
DS2500 for track work realy IMO.
£50 for the work though is nice earner for him its about 1 hours work for disk and pads. Say a 1.5 extra for the lines its worth doing the lines for a total job as stock arn't great but there...
