    Yep F = 44NM H, J and G are all 44NM. I got mixed up with my earlier post. Alsl you have to do is loosen F pull the engine forward and retigthen.

    The AA along with some other give (or used to) a 1 year's NCB discount for having it. I found it a bit of a waste but I'd driven for quite a lot before doing it.

    Best idea is to put some string on the old one when you pull if though from the cabin to the engine bay then attach the sting to the new one and pull the new one into the cabin. Its easy to do. Just try not take the pedal assembly to pices best way to work in the fottwell is to sit backwards...

    Renault have to prove the mods are responsivbe for the failure dampers are the only thing they could blame but they fail so much on stock suspension on the 182 I wouldn't worry.

    Its the UCH relays clikcing were the wipers on auto as the relays click onon on auto setup when there turning the lights on and off. More likly the unit switched of to protect itself. Wiring loom problem dash off or pull the radio out the wires might be visiable which are the problem or not...

    As people have said it flashes to warm you its active so slow down. Switch it off and the light stay on tho warm you your safety electronics won't help you out.

    Loosen the bolt in the center of the top mount and pull the engine foward as far as the mount allows. Tighten the top bolt 62NM from memory. As for the dog bone best have a look you want to try and pull the engine away from the subframe.

    2 problems with my '51 plate 172

    The lambeda light will come on all the time until until you unplug the second sensor then have the faul cleared the second sensors deting a faulty cat th garage is a bit usless if they cannot tell this. Dodgy oil connection.

    Nope drivablity if done correctly and mpg is fine (mpg obviously depends how you drive but it won't do much less its only an extra few hp its not a turbo). Best do a search its been mentioned before there calim of power seem a biut high.

    Breakers bar and some oil for the nuts. There not a good replacmetn though stock is better your dampers will be rattling and you'll be sending them back for new ones before the end of the year if you do any miles.

    Immobiliser fault

    Easy fix is to seal up the roof with bathroom etc sealant . A better fix is to sort out new seals etc but few people will spend the money doing it correctly.
