Auto electricians and locksmiths may be able to program the central locking. But as I said the key comes from france ready to start the car. All that needs programming is the central locking. It only takes 5 minuits with XR25!

Flashing imobiliser light means there is no code being recieved from the key. Some one with a diagnostic machine can confirm wether the BIC is reciving a code or even recieveing a code which is wrong.
I would bite the bullet and get a brand new key.
Very common on the older renault generation for the gearbox's to baulk like that.
Change the oil for some decent stuff and should make the world of difference.
Fook me! Thats appauling! That jubilee clip was probably put there to keep the belt on the idler/oil pump pulley whilst the rest of the belt was fed on.
Iv had this fault with the UCH before. And it is the UCH at fault so it will need a new part. there around £200 from renault plus they need to be programed so fairly expensive.

When you started it when jacked up the wheels were probably turning. This will cause the abs light to come on because the front wheels are moving and the rear arnt.
Its either broken ABS reluctor ring or your CV boot has come off and the clip is interfiering with the signal. Get your head under the car and have a look at the cv boots.
600 rpm is slightly low for a warm engine. Before doing anything like a remap, I would remove the throttle body and clean it out with carb cleaner. Also clean the idle control valve.
