Clio sport is a 1.4
But, as said, there's a 'sport' trim level on all of the 16v models.
Renaultsport Clio is the 2.0, the only one to have a renaultsport badge.
It does free up a few hp, the same as removing the power steering. Any auxiliaries on the engine will sap power.
But regardless, the aircon weighs a lot so it's worth doing either way.
There's no doubt at all that it's a fault with the gearboxes mate, huge numbers have been sent back. I just meant, from a legal point of view, you can't prove to them that it's been treated well by all of it's owners, which is how they get away with not paying out for a lot of people.
Same as...
It's very rare to get a spare alloy these days. They're all emergency only jobs, I assume to encourage to replace their spare instead of just leaving it on.
You can buy a set of four and then buy a single wheel though... Most people don't want 5.
I've been wondering this too.... I've heard a lot of stories of goodridge ones failing. Not something I want to invest in.
I may have to have a looky at mocal.... If fred's sales pitch is to be trusted ;)
Mine has very good traction in the dry, but you can spin through first and second as soon as a bit of rain comes.
I would say it's pretty likely yours is timed wrong. If it's only had a belt and not the kit, then it needs to be done anyway so just get it looked at by a specialist.
Where abouts...
Looks nice mate, the only thing I would say is the wheels don't really go with the stripes....
White wheels + stripes would look great.
Anthracite wheels without striped would look great too.
Just not sure about them together.
I also like the blue diamonds!
As much as it is a 'performance' car, there's a huge difference between changin gears enthusiastically and changing gears badly.
BAD gear changes is where the damage comes from, changing too quickly, forcing the synchros, crunching across gears etc etc.
Unfortunately mate, as said above...
I'd have a 182 over the z4 absolutely no question....
It's quicker
It's cheaper
It's more fun
Less 'look at me in posh sports car' which I hate.
If it was a decent spec, then maybe i'd consider the bimmer, but not a poverty spec model.
welcome to the club though chap. I guarantee, the first...
