The shocks will wear out quicker how much quicker depends so much.
To give you an idea my shocks were going at ~50k on stock springs all there life. Black cros are fine on lowered springs at 45k and he drives hard.

It won't lower the car will make for a harder ride and its the correct setup plug depending on age and if your talking 16V or not it might have problems with hub...
Yep airbags and pretensioners are the same just when you unplug the old ones and plug them into yuor car don't turn the electrics on until there all connected back up otherwise the warning light goes off. When all the airbags etc are plugged in then you can turn the key etc.

Its used by the ECU to check the cats working but if there no signal recieved it don't do anything only if it recives a signal that shows the cts fauty will it show it as a fault.
