    Yep you can but you need a new card the stock 128mB oneisn't big enopugh i got a 2 gig one and it holds all roads in Europe except Scandinavia I think.

    Lowering springs

    The shocks will wear out quicker how much quicker depends so much. To give you an idea my shocks were going at ~50k on stock springs all there life. Black cros are fine on lowered springs at 45k and he drives hard. I'm not easy though on parts.

    Again my point still stand. Depends what model (ie phase 1 phase 2 1.2/1.4 1.6 Mk1 Mk2 etc) the hub spacing is the differences. It won't lower the car will make for a harder ride and its the correct setup plug depending on age and if your talking 16V or not it might have problems with hub...

    Yep airbags and pretensioners are the same just when you unplug the old ones and plug them into yuor car don't turn the electrics on until there all connected back up otherwise the warning light goes off. When all the airbags etc are plugged in then you can turn the key etc. Airbags computers...

    Its used by the ECU to check the cats working but if there no signal recieved it don't do anything only if it recives a signal that shows the cts fauty will it show it as a fault.

    very basic car question

    It might only be making 1/3 the torque but three times the speed o its the same HP same acceleration. The gearing would have to be adjusted to show it. The second engine you on about with a flat torque curve accelerates faster at higher rpm as its hp which actually accelerates you.

    I'd disagree an engine wich give Hp accross a big power band ie a diesel or a V8 etc is great on track much better out of bends than a petrol IMO.

    Aftermarket is the best way to go. The normal ones for the brake and clutch are riveted to the pedal the accelerate or a whole pedal assembly bit.

    Chanage them for what? If the pretensions have gone off you should replace the airbag computer which is £350 although there places who can apparently fix the old ones.

    No idea if ther the right ones but if they say they fit the car then you can alwasy return them if they don't. mm is refering to the amount the car will drop with them on.
