Same price from all dealers they alkl use the same price some might give discount if you pretent to be trade.
Easy to buy 2 or sodays to deliver to a dealership as 995 don't have them in stock.
What insert are you thinking off?
They come withoutnaribgs just the wheel with the grips on...
I've got bad news for you then.
All the Clios use the same body shell 172/182's just have differetn front end stuff body panel are a bit different and rear axle.
182/Trophy don't have spare wheels.
Manifold work, decat remap, some sort of deceint induction kit is your best bet for under £1k but 10hp at best. And your starting with 179.
BenR or Stan* are the techies for this best PM then I think it depends though on other factros cams arn't just detailed from degrees its lift angles etc if you search for posts by BenR he posted somehting about this reciently.
Cold airs densor so better for power.
There a patent out years agao from someoen who showed that hot air into th engine could lead to huge MPG improvements but that not realy applicable to making HP numbers.
If hot air made power why would race car have big front mounted intakes why not...
I prefere there versions of the E class to the rocket one.
Awsome car though as for it not being exotic there not much with 4 doors and that quick in the exotic most exotical has 2 doors.
Clips are only about 50p but you need to buy the whole assembly GSF I think sell them £60 or so for the bits.
New pipes arn't cheap either got to a breakers yard or for a fortune try Renault.
I've got a guide on the A/C on the 172 etc PM me your mail address.
Good tyres and learningto drive the car to the limit will get you more than anyhting else.
Engine tunning isn't vey cost effective best value cheap stuff is a oil chnage and gearbox oil change panle filter with cold air intake, decat, remap, manifold work and if you want an exhaust...
172 Cup has a different part number if I remember right than the 172 but they are interchangable. (I think Cuped 172 is stronger most likyl to deal with the extra camber it runs or least the phase 2 hubs is stronger than the phase 1 one.
I've got a 182 Cup packed hub to strip off this weekend...
Yep its the longest ratio one but its not a huge difference.
Just thought Batman does you car run the Cup conversion if so then you cannot use the box the Cup box has a gearbox sensor it depends what conversion you've got I didn't think to ask.
Its the UCH whoich it as fault by the sounds its the big coimputer relay box under the glovebox.
The UCH is internlinked with the ECU and keys and is a coded part so Renault delaer or least Renault CLip computer is neeed to program it. I think infact Renault only as you need the hex code to...
I'd want my dci back just for the price of fuel.
Brakes are good but there year old so need a refulb probelm new pads disks fluid lines seals on the calieprs master clyinder and they'd be good as new but nooone spedns that much on one total cost of that lot with new brakes lines (might as...
Have a look at the pedal ratchet system and you'll see the problem assuming its not broken(common Mk1 problem) then you'll see its not adjustable realty
I take it you have a standard Renault cable as aftermarket ones are rubish.
you could always put spacers in the clutch fork bit but you...
Its not the exhaust completl its the bracket not being well desinged which leads to the problem just get either another mount made up or get the exhaust to have soem extra strenghtitn to deal with the forces.
172 and 182 have the same front pads.
The 182 ones uperceeded the 172 ones but there the same just with a little chamfer on the corners to held them not rattle.
You would know if it wasn't disengaging as you'd never be able to have the car idle and stay still you'd have to keep moving everywhere.
The adjustment is altomatic via the ratche thingie.
I think all three are the same type of compound.
I think the Ds2500s are quite dirst as my front weehsl seem dirty all the time wheras stock pads used to get cleaner after a drive though some water. I'm not totally sure as I've never cleaned the wheels.
