Because if somehting breaks at 2k it won't cause much damage it it breaks at 6k then its expensive to fix. Renault don't raly care about hp one or 2 either way on a slowly bedded in engine vs hard bedding it doesn't mean anyhting to them they don't care.
You need the rings to make a good seal...
Its quite likly to take out the cambelt. the design of it isn't amazing.
Aux belt servies were chnaging after a load failed ans Renault had to pay so it now should be chnaged at 36k not checked. Some dealers don't remember to chnage it at 36k and still work to the old service rules.

You need a press to fit them take the hub off and down to a garage £10 to push a new one in say and say £20 for a new bearing there only one seize I think on the Mk1 none Williams/1.8 16V.
VAG j3C I think its called its the 6 speed one all the VAGs use 300LB offically rated to but even VW seem to allow upto 330lb under warently abroad (you can have foreigh models chipped) as they are more powerful than the offical calculation suggest. The diesel has the stonger bits in it...
Take the plugs out and look then if check the ledas you might fine plugs are worn.
halfords selll the plugs for cheap the 4 electrode ones are good apparently and cheap.
Plugs and leads you can DIY there not difficult.
What bits do you have calipers? caliper brackets?
Disk lines
condition.
Your not looking at much money but if there good condition sa 60 for calipers and brackets ie the bit which attaches the caliper to the hub.
A few people have done it but unfortunatlthe valver engine doesn't respond to well to cams. A 2.0 bottom end is better than a valver with cams even better is a 2.0 bottom end and cams.
You can pic the bottom end sup cheap from the Megans and Williams more and more now.
tom 16V or someoen like...
Thats the phone I'm thinking off had my sister look on ebay today for it. But I think some barbie dolls or teddies caught her eyes instead.

She can have the light...
Nope.
Get some decient fluid and then some ds2500's you'll need some good fluid though I need to bleed mine every few month with the ds2500s as the fluid boils. New lines would be advantagious but £50 or so extra.
I'd just chnage the fluid and check the pads/renew with stock as stock brakes...
Depends on the definition of better.
Apex stuff is good value but to hard IMo then again if you want very good stuff you pay the price assocaitedf with it ie Leda ie £1.4k or so fitted).
Personally I think stock stuffs great most people don't refresh stock stuff then stick some aftermarket...
