I prefer the look of the Golf on the outside, but much perfer the A3 inside. They drove very similar! Just been serviced (100 miles ago) and belts were all done with the water pump at 80,000 miles. It really has been pampered it's whole life :approve:

I think so too, but time will tell I suppose. The torque more than makes up for it at the moment though. Yeah the alloys aren't great... and these are the Sport spec wheels! lol I'll chuck the wheels from the other half's TT on there at some point to see what they look like.

You've got a leather gearbox?! The gear gator breaking is very common mate, the plastic clips snap. They're only about £6 from a dealer for a replacement. Oh, and they're not leather.

This is the exact problem I had. I found the perfect car that was too good to pass up.... so took a loss on the clio trade in price. Ah well, roll on Friday and all will be happy again.
