PE2's last forever. I managed a UK trackday, weekend at the nurburgring and 16k driving miles on a set!
Even after that they had tread left on them, but the sidewalls started to crack due to age! lol
Stuck in the traffic just before 2pm this afternoon on Christchurch DC... woman in a silver 172 with an old school cliosport sticker in the back window.
I waved but either a) you didn't see me, or b) you wondered why some strange guy in an Audi was waving at you.
Hi :)
I bought a rough, beaten up 182 cup alloy with a legal tyre on it for long journeys. Actually, I only had it in the car for Nurburgring trips... In the UK I have AA.
I put mine under the boot net when I used it.
You need a connects2 adapter. There are 2 available, one that is just an aux in adapter and one that has full ipod functionality.
Speak to MTAudio in the traders section, he'll sort you out.

Re: 200 avec 6K HID's
perfect!
I would have gone for 4300 tbh, but they're all good. Saying that, I think the Audi might have 6k as they're much whiter than the 182.
LOL
You had a 1.4, I had a 1.4
You got a 172, I got a 172
I got a 182, you got a 182
I traded the 182, you SORN the 182
All at the same times.
That's love x
If it was Inferno, I would have sworn you had bought my car lol
You should have got a warranty book detailing any exclusions... worth a flick through that. Who's the warranty with? AA warranties are pretty good.
Re: Cheap for a 182???
I recently traded my '54 Inferno FF 182 in. 47k, good condition, belts done (dephaser was noisy though). Wheels needed refurb.
I was given £3500 and the garage sold it on for £3800 2 days later.
I can recommend the pipercross one... but there's little difference between them all tbh.
At the end of the day all a panel filter does is last longer than the standard paper one.
As Canary said, thin coat of laquer then wait until it starts to go tacky... then another... then another.... then another.... then leave for 48hours minimum.
Don't be fooled into thinking that because it feels dry, it is dry. Laquer needs to harden properly or it'll last 5 mins.
