I have no doubt it would make it, its not the breaking down im bothered about as I can just fix it... Its just the comfort factor especially being like a greenhouse in the sun ;)
you mean TUV, not TV.
And everyone is saying all these new rules/regs are just scare tactics like previous years which I did already know about...which they may be.
Although, from owning a 15/16 year old Mk1 Clio with an OTT cage, cut out panels, no doorcards and polycarb windows is just...

Yeah thought it would be the crank seal, been leaking most of the year... and flywheel bolts yeah, I did at the start and they have not been out yet, needless to say they will be getting re-used with fresh threadlock!

Au Revoir 172 ECU and one of the original 172-to-Mk1 Engine Looms! :)
Hopefully will make the conversion easy to do for the buyer and carry on running for quite some time to come! :approve:

Just...
Tweeks are wanting £85 too.
If you go back a page to the list of R888's it says Out of Stock for all of them, but when you click 195/50 it says In Stock... Might phone up tomorrow and see if they will budge the price for a large order.
Re: Mk1 F4R'd Track Car Project [2010 Winter Rebuild]
Mostly, I dont really like welding to the shell because its about 0.1mm thick french tin, so a mate usually does it with his bigger/better welder. But anything else I will give a go yeah.
Re: Mk1 F4R'd Track Car Project [2010 Winter Rebuild]
Been putting this job off for some time now - cutting the holes for the cage to pass through to the struts. A grinder and 70mm holesaw later...
Cage bar in place, not profiled at either end yet but you get the idea...
Diagonal...
