Chnage the damper as well Imo they make the ride much better.
Pi are the cheap option.
Eisbach (No idea how to spell it) are the best choice but more expensive IMO.
You'll need to bleed the brakes most likly.
Check the mounts don't need adjusting they might just have moved to there limits and cathcing other exhaust bits.
36k though will mean your exhaust is probably on the way out check the pipe infront of the rear box it will be cracking.
Since there top spec stuff you can just get them rebuilt with new valves etc for not much realy. Normla stuff is so cheap that new stuff will be made to replace it cheaper than rebuild prices.
Yep but if you wreck the engine you've got to get home its bound to fail at the most inopotune moment, Then get a new engine and time time to take engine out and replace it why bother IMO?
They are the same.
F4R is the engine type like Escort. 730 means the model type ie Cosworth.
C010172 is your fabrication type code.
I'm not sure if the D refere to a replacment engine from memory.
But the fronts suspension whilst having different part number between the phase 172 and...
Just get them £22.50 from Renault isn't bad.
Top nut is a pain to remove might be worth going down to a garage and get them to use the air gun to loosen it even new cars are very stiff.
Forget uprated IMo go for stock its not amazing but the uprated one I had in my WIlliams (same thing realy) was useless way to heavy difficult to run in comparison and more importantly poorly mad it failed after 10k or so totally.

Bit pricy that new one could be bought for less.
Making it road legal shouldn't be that bad if you've already got a road going shell. If not get a Mk1 or phase 1 looms for the lights and SVA it.
Demeon Tweeks sell a load of different spc ones I think Saftery cages are the cheapest mine was somehting like £300 or so then fitment depends a proper place your looking at £200 I think or so excluding stripping out of the car.
Or get a local garage to do the welding much cheaper...
GSF do ne I think.
Still £35 isn't a bad rpcie you could always buy new bushes and spent a few hours tring to get them in to save a few quid if you want.
Sounds like the sliders arn't worktin strip the caliepr odd and grease the slider up.
Might just be the tyres since they are lower profile are more tight and reacting more.
Your brakes have been bled arn't they?
Turinis arn't bent etc are they?
How bad is it does the wheel move a little or is it dangerous?
Don't need the tracking checked when chnaging wheels though.
Try swopping the wheels round see if you can see if its one bent wheel etc.
Timing sliped when I got confused about there being 2 buttons, hence Clarkie managed a 1.24 even after a higly impresseve spin accoring to my timing.
We need a more twisty track next time. All these HP hungry owners have a huge advantage.
I'm usless with geography but try Renault specialists like BB Ktec Rentech and Clarkies carlotn garage (I forget the name its in the Renault dealership sand specialist all the time) and GDi they should do you a decient price.
Mine was very close at under 1 year old and all it needed was front and rear suspension/axles doing and respay plus bonnet and bumper/wing.
I'm amazed your isn't.
Mine was close to a write off with a lot less than that. When they check the measuremtn out they might fine the chassic is bent in which case its a write off as its not worth trying to bend it back when you start adding other costs into it.
Excluding the extra bits you listed I've put the...
