Best option is a 2.0 Willaims engine or Megan bottom end for starters. Depending whay you want to spend I'd get a rebuilt 2.0 megan or Willaims bottom end a ported 16V head and then cams if you have the money with a remap and some good work that will make a very quick engine. Tunning the stcok...
Yep but when a leaf get into the intake and destroys the engine you'll regret it.
If you've ever chnaged the filter on a car you'll see some of the stuff the filter picks up and understand truely why the filter is there.
I would recomend the dci only if your doing a few more miles the Mk3 seems heavier (although most cars havn't many miles on so noone knows it they will loosen up and help).
In your situation ' go for the 1.4 and stick the money in the bank the 1.6 isn't much better a bit more torque but neither...
There no best place if the place has them in stock you'll get them quicker. However if they don't they'll be as slow as any other palce since they all get stocked from the same importer.
Shop round though see how much and how long it will take.
Do the suspension yourself or get someone on...

David what psi/hp level were you running at? Just thinking you could be running up 300hp plus and as "low" as 260hp which isn't far of what Yozzasport run. Do you have any torible running the high hp level on track with intake temps causing trouble or do you run specical fuels?
Out of pure...
If you get the Ktec one you put extra load on the other mounts and they then fail/go soft.
Yozzasport is looking at a new desing one I belive there are some made by other companies but there in Europe so language barrier and very expensive I think it was £600 excluding P and P.
It would look.
If it were to be done it would be under the Alpine brand name IMO. Renaul said a which agao no V6 style Clio would be done but its there brand leader they need another car to replace it. After all evene there dialogues software has a picture of a car which is now out of production.

Don't bother bother with there stuff. Me Jon_16V and nother forum member have all used there stuff and the rear dampers fail very quickly there good about replcing them and always claim to have redesigned but they fail between 1 and 6k later
Best look at the attched photo to show where the harnesses should be attched for safety in a crash situation. I had mine mounted that low and I could fell them squashing my spine in hard braking in a crash it would have been very dangerous.
