Yep you can buy them seperate but for the effort just get a rebuilt one after all there the same as the 172 uses so there quite common.

The teeth can wear get down around the pedal area and you should be able to tell with a bit of fiddling if the teeth have worn new ones arn't that much under £10 I think and arn't that bad to fit its just space is limited.

I used them on my WIlliams with the original wheels with no problem (ok they rubed a bit but it was very low.

B2 are the OE replacment dampers. I've got them on my car and there ok not as stikk as my old ones but then again my old ones were unusually stiffer more so than any other none RS IMO.

Never was enough depmand for a 172 book but there not much diofferent than the normal book so get them and if you want the file on 172 bits email me and I'll send it to you. I've got one on the Cup but since it only covers cup bits unless people particularly ask for it I don't send it out...

Rover 25? Corsa I'd choice personally or a cheap astra if your doing miles as its a nicer long distance car.
