I've left mine on them for ages.
Its not recomended though. Best stick some other supports under at the same time.
They can wobble about is thed cars hsock and it might fall hence the warning.
Then again I've realy shook mine when its been on stands.
Depends what you want to do with the car. There not much difference bwetween full fat adn Cup. Personally in my situation I'd go full fat only if I did less milage I'd go Cup. Then again I'd get a phase 1 anyway.
Its fine stick somehting else under I use sleepers at home or keep the jacks in place at the same time.
As for where to jack
This picture should give you an idea.
Jack on the bit in red if your colour blind I've arrowed it in yellow as well. Don't jack and further forwards (marked in...
CD changer was standard spec on the phase 1 the phase 2 it was an option. the CD chnger doesn't like CD-RW though its ok with decient CD-R though.

There a few owners/ex owners on here they arn't any regualtrs I know off though.
I meant he'll have 100 or more in stock. No idea how much he asks under £100.
Yep 172 172 exclusives made there gren with differetn alloys and numbered plaques.
Personally I'd keep with Renault stock compound Continental. I love them and hate the Toyo T1R/S. Then again others hate the ontinetals and love the Toyos.
The onyl advantage the Toyos were they were £33 fitted each and lasted a a long time I get though Contis ever 10k or so but there only a...
At the front yep there the bit the spring sites over.
At the back there seperate bits to the spring you'll see them when you look under the back of the car they accach from the suspension arm to the top of the wheel arch area.
Good buy that glad you've staying with the Clios.
I prefere the phase 1's better car in many repects plus aircon in this weather and chepaer 15 inch tyres.
Few have failed yet. Some of the early ones had trouble but they were sorted under warently.
I'd say 4~5 years and 50~80k or so 172's ones last about 3 years/36k.
It will depend how there treated though.
