Nope, Cup packs could be fitted to any colour paint. You had to have it in blue to have the strips though.
Just to confuse things some people have the dark wheels fitted retrospectfully so wheel coloutr doesn't garantee it.
Check the camber to be reasomably sure 1 degree negative and its...

I'll have to check again thinking about it 65hp from the 1.9 sounds normal not 80.
Ok edit what I said earier.
The Mk1 phase 1 came with the 1.9 N/A which had 65hp and with a 1.9 turbo diesel which had 80hp. The 110hp model was made though and stuck in some cars.
Nope the 1.9 dci was never put in the Clio (well there a Renault V6 phase 1 with one in but that doesn' count. The Phase 2 only ever got the 1.5 dci engine in it.
There was a 1.9 N/A model made for the Mk2 pahse 1 which had 80hp. The dci 65 was supposed to be a replacment for the N/A one and...
Yep its the Renault 192 engine gearbox mount same as the 172/182 today use. The holes are predrilled on the gearbox and subframe . You take the passenger side wheel off and where the gearbox and subframe are close thats where the mount goes.
Coils can fail. Servicing can be expensive as any changing of the cambelts needs the engine out.
Also the phase 1's had a habbit of crashing so check for accident damage if its been hard driven.
H and R coilovers and then chnage the brakes for uprated ones and new lines etc whne you ned.
Thats £1k spent and much better value than £1k spend on the engine which won't get much more power.
£1k spent on the engine will get you a decat intake manifold work an exhaust and a remap same as Ali...
I did it as my first and second trak day ever. I;'m glad in many ways I did as some other circuits are very bland in comparison its higher rish as there closer barriers than others but that makes (for me) a more fun track.
Sessions means you go on for 20 minutes then off for 40 minutes whilsts the other people go on. Its handy as they usualy run it as one session for beginners one for intermediate and one for advanced.
