You could stick in a longer ratio box/ longer last gear/final drive though and help lower rpm at crusiing motorway speed though couldn't you?
I think Oms idea isn't for power its for other reasons.
Say taking it to 2.1 since its only an over bore you'd only need a new pistons wouldn't you...
172 and none Rs coilovers are difference so you'd have to sell the 1.2's on and buy the 172 ones you could doge them but I wouldn't risk it as you'd need new springs anyway.
Fk's drop about that low but you'll need to get cutting at the arch liner etc to make it work.
If you want to save...
Fuel filter ever 150k as mentioned here http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=107873
You don't need to change the senor from what I remeber.
Some early Mk2's had external fuel filters though just to be difficlt.
Individual throttle bosies which i assume is being talked about are expensive you won't see chnage from £3k at best expect to end up paying near £4k with servicing etc.
Disk arn't perfectly even thats whty pads were to the disk they won't have worn much though hence why I did say "You don't need though."
No avtar though for a few reasons
1) Easy to spot my posts when looking throught threads its the only one without a avtar usually.
2) Cannot find a...
You have to do some real hard even the race teams don't break them to often. Its most likly the slider between the cliper and caliper holder which are stuck.
You should be chnaging the pads as well.
There should be a bedding in insstruction but I always bed mine in by hard braking from 60 to 10 mph or so a few times to burn of the protective coverings.
You need to find out whats wrong it might just be the pipe works cracked which isn't to expensive a new raditaros quite expensive a second hand one is a better idea for the money.
Nick hill has now got a package whihc from the sounds of it uses the phase 2 ECU etc but a cable throttle body for a decient price.
BBt package is going to me a ECU remap thing. The problem would be you'd have all your throttle adjustamnt over half the normal distant which driving on the limti...
Its quite possible its the suspension arm so a new arm is the best option as trying to chnage the bushes can be more expensive. A new arms not mauch though under £50.
You could fix it yourself a new set of pads are £40 then just clean up and grease the brakes where needed and your off. Its a Renault warently issue though.
Thats a warently issue brakes shouldn't and they don't fail if they did its a poor design/manurfacture and so covered under the suitability of product act ie it has to be fit for purpose which in this case it isn't.
Contact Renault Uk yourself.
Another common problem is when you lock the car the alarm beeps 2 or 3 times.
Reason: The alarm system has received a signal from the vehicle ECU that the ignition is 'on' causing the alarm to beep. This signal is only received by the alarm for 3 to 4 seconds, after this time has elapsed the...
Would that include the cams head work etc and fitment of the engine to car and mapping?
Would using a used engine help in any way I think Nick Hill was on saying rebuilt used engines make more power than new rebuilt ones as they've been worn in a bit?
Renault won't give you a new washer there £1 or so you want the one which has the bit of rubber on it. The mk1's used the copper one (also the gearbox uses the copper washers). You could use the copper one though its no problem realy. plus there cheaper 50p or so.
Its not a serious problem my...
