Best stick a Honda engine and box in with custom shafts and mounts you'll need shafts and mounts making for the 197 engine so its no more difficult plus you'll ned a stand alone ECU to make a 197 run unless you use the 197 ECU UCH etc. The Honda engine is a more potnetial and better gearbox...
Its not the engine its the ECU which is the probelm it doens't like much boost.
Mor important in the car is making sure the suspenion including all bushes etc are good quality stuff (ie Renault original for the bushes etc and expensive shocks etc). Also use some decinet tyres. Those two...
Yep the Volvo engine is a 1.8 *v with a turbo. Its limited to about 120 brakes with the stock ECU I believe.
A Williams engine is a better transplant IMO its a better place to start tunning from value for money and simplicaity wise.
Forget the big brake conversion kit its usless apart from...
If the engine dies then the PAS pump stops working so theres no power assistance.
Best get to Renault to find out whats causing it to cut out might just need the throttle body cleaning.
Humm not to bad price. I wonder what software issue its running? Also getting new disk for most people would be difficult.
Hum I like the other one up for sale more though. (You've got one of them havn't you?)
Yep very much so. I'd guess who gave you a copy so I'm surprised they didn't say not to give them out. Thats was the deal I got them on.
£1 a drawing you'll make a tidy profit there loads of them.
I'm not sure though on Renault UK position I researched it with Renault and there unofficially...
Normal 172 stuff will fit.
I've go to try and check but you might need s aslight modification to a bole or least use camber bolt to make the camber right as ther 182 has wider track.
Rear shocks are the same on all Clios Mk2's size wise. Damper rates etc I suppose shoudl be linked to spring rates and since a Cuped 182 has harder springs than a 172 they should if there using the stock springs change the damper rate but they will still fit.
Try Blistein they do replacment...
When you kill 3 animal in about a minute on seperate incidents.
Or better still when you look at yout tyres later and theres a falt spot from where the tread all melted when you locked up.
Yep that the fluid.
A good tool kit you'll need some sort of jack/crane to get the engine out unless you've got a good garage and 4 post lift and you could then lift the car over the engine.
