    help needed!! 182 help!

    The different in ride height makes so little difference Cped cars can be higher than none cuped. There not much difference but have the camber checked there abut 1 degree differences.

    You don't need the car checking only if you have a certain amount changing I think just engine and box and your ok.

    Standard box but those ratios arn't stock acceleration is only that good and looks quick due to the low speed gearing I recon. Still very nice.

    I had mine lowered on Spax now because Spax rear shocks are useless they kept failing so you coudl argue it caused probelms but it was a warently issue I just kept going back to Demon Tweeks like Renault and they did the dirty work.     Yep they will bolt on wheather they will catch on the arches etc depends on your suspension etc.

    Yep there is an order it doesn't matter so long as you let th fluid run for about 30 seconds from each clyinder though without bubbles.

    The more expensive on e probably makes more power as they do more than just stick an extra head gasget in the engine to lower the compression ratio. Ie new pistons etc.

    Ype there only 4 calipers just take the bleed nippple cover of and loosen the nipple (8m nut) a bit if you rusing a 1 person kit its easy to do.

    Nope Mk2 2 all CLio eacpet the V6 and 172etc run 259mm disks. They use the R5GTT and WIlliams and 1.8 16V pads. The R5GTT however used 239mm disks. the WIlliams and 1.8 and Mk2 2 none RS Clios uses the 259mm disks.

    I wouldn't think so the Mk2 phase 1 except for the powerful models had the 239mm disk fitted.

    Suspension Hole Spacing!

    99.9% sure its 58mm but with 1.2 8V you can not be 100% sure. If its not 58 it will be 52mm.

    Just use Any normal disks I use Halfords with the normal and the DS2500 pads. The Halfords pads are very good FDB 845 I think and at £17 a bargin.

    My car was dropped 60mm on a hard Spax setup and freds down about 100mm on a very very hard custom setup and nither of us have bent our roofs (Freds was bent before hand so that doesn't realy count. If the sunroof leaks then you've other problems.

    Try breakers yards. I wouldn't bother I would have prefered drums on my Williams they are much better and cheaper to run.

    I've got 3 185/55/15 conti sport tyres the normal ones which the none RS clio uses. 7mm of trwead I think £15 each or £40 for all 3.

    WHy bothere though get a diesel for cheap road fund any anyway insurance is down to loads of cfactory price to fix engine size doesn't always have an impact. Thats why it can be cheaper to insure a group 12 car with a 18 engine than a group 9 car with a 1.6 engine sometimes as the group 9 car...

    172 lump into a valver

    You need custom mounts to make it work or go to throttle bodies or have a big dent in the bonney (cutout etc). The wiring well the easy option is to transplant a whole 172 wiring looms etc. A Williams engine is a better idea IMO.

    Have you checked the throttle body is clean? The 1.2 16V engine has a load of problems.

    259mm 238 ar on the Mk2 phase 1's and Mk1's (Williams and 1.8 16V were 259 though).

    Uprated lower engine mount bushes(182 cup)

    Loads of people of here have used this uprated mount it does make the car shake more at idel but it heleps tigten the car up.

    Don't run water through it. I'd not bother realy unless it was very high.
