Check and clean brakes and rear drums and front disks.
10-40 is fine use some decient fully synthetic stuff though pro silkline is higly recomended.
Check the AUX belt for wear.
Yep best use the Renault turbo blocks but why bother even without a turbo you can get 350hp from a 2.0 172 engine. The only advanatge is that with both turbo and superchrager you cna have boost from the idle to max rpm.
The throttle cable usually sticks on them.
Ne throttle bodies arn't cheap try Matt on 01254 386661
Seat sliding is probably a broken clip have a look.
Engne mount depends hwo bad but a new set of mounts or if there not bad just adjust the stock ones and it will go away.
You can turbo the 1.2 and 172 engine but to make serious power you need to lover the compression or fix the head otherwise you'll be limited to about 130 and 210hp.
Cost well ktec looked at a kit for the 1.2 for about £3~4k I think but the same clutch they gave up now I think. You can get a 172...
If you lower at all the ride won't be perfect. I'd aleways recomend changing shocks.
You can go down 90mm on custom spring but lhow long the dampers last is anyone guess.
They can only refuse to pay if they can prove the modification is responsible for the claim. Loads of Clio have been lowered and had suspension work done including drive shafts and ball joint carried out under warently.
Royal purple but its not cheap or easy to find.
75/90 is the spec your supoiosed to use. A few people use 75/80 Milelrs (The only spec they do) without issue I used it on my Williams and it seemed better and the old oil wasn't bad so its not just like I was going from rotten oil to new stuff.
If its a demo car it has to be Yellow it stands out in pictures more.
If thats not an option then some other strong colour black would look good particuly covered tastfully in a very different colour stickers.
I'd spend the money on K coilovers there not cheap at about £450 but well worth it.
The will let you go down about 80mm all round.
I live the turini alloys which are multispoke from the 172 Cup which are 16's but everyone seems to do that.
Take the throttle body iff and calen it that can fix most problems.
The throttle bodies on the 1.2 are useless ring Matt on 01254 386661
he might be able o source a cheaper one or a second hand unit.
Just stick the wheel on full lcok and measure the bolt distance on the hubs only take s asecond or whats your cars details all Mk2 2 clio none RS are 58mm apart from some early 1.2's.
£140~200 for the 54k depends where you go not much to do for it.
Balck cro we don't cound as we're none RS owners its the RS owners who get ripped off.
