Something like 2001 they changed over to remove the speedo sensor from the Sport range.
Fred why not just run a stand alone speedo output? maybe from the back wheel using an ABS sensor etc to the clock?
If you do want a tow bared 172 there not many fixes one is to reregister the car has a kit car even sticking a 172 engine box etc in it still don't mean its can tow I'm not sure though use a 1.2 sheel 172 gear and take the 172 number plate and you could argue the cars a 1.2 with a 172 transplant...
Your not allowed to tow with the 172/182 I looked at the details.
There stupid rules and regulation but Renault havn't tested it even though its the same shell as normal cars (hence why you cna get tow bars since the car has the same mounts etc) and the engine the same as stuck in other cars...
Just go to a better dealers who will fix it?
If you want to break it just disconnect the pipe let the gas out then plug it back on.
Or better still replace the pump with the k9k replacement no aircon but more power.
The VVt come on at 1.4k and disactivates at 6.5k its ensure the power does't drop off to much.
It only actiuvated though if the MAp is 800mbar or more (abut 75% throttle) and the oil temps over 60 or 65degrees.
usless as wel.
Power outputs maybe 5~10hp depends how good the engine is you may find stock your cars only 120hp not 137 it came out the factory with due to wear.
Nope.
Just make sure you let the fluid run for a bit after you get a constant stream and you don't have to do them in order realy either.
SOunds like you need to adjust the cambel have a look in haynes manaul how to do ti I think you unclub the cable on the caliper pull the calpe and caliper...
We can but hope, its not been washed by me since before the world series at Donnington. I don't think so though the amount of stone chips its gone and unfortunly it looks like rust on the bonnet makes me not want to wash it.
Renault have washed it twice but not been done for a bit. I thought it...
Evogone destroyed his wheels with 3000's and there similar to PF97's IMO. Plus they damages people paint (I don't think we can can forget some people weren't happy with them to be honest).
Total can or works here though. Dust is the issue though your right I've the 2500's and i don't like...
The best idea is to fill the mounts with poloyfiller and it hardens then up but it does pass the vibration through to the car infact the whole car shakes still it does firm the car up.
Have you got an uprated dogbone mount the one attaching the gearbox to the firwall as such? They help a lot...
Doesn't matter if its a Mk1 or 2 the speedo will only be out if the wheel has a greater diameter you can stick 17's on and have the same rolling circumference is you have small tyres.
They did a 120, and 140 hp version I think.
The 6 speed laguna box won't easiley fit. I think its the one Fred using on his 2.0T transplant but if you have a look at his old posts he put a few pictures up showing that to make it sit righ it needs to ahve about 1 or 2 inches chopped out of the...
The new engine will fit but yo make the 4 th mount work you'll need either a 172/182 subraframe or you'll have to ignore it.
The 100 and 105 are very different engine different blocks for a starter bigger clutch plate for mating to the new gearbox.
The 1.9 will fit I did some roungh...
Full fat is what people call the none Cup cars.
Renault made the
172 normal one (called the full fat with the zeons etc)
172 Cup which was a lower spec 172 no zeons or side airbags etc.
182 normal one (called the full fat with the zeons etc) but you could order it with Cup suspension and...
I know abou it.
Stunning ravcing I've seen clips though of people ever closer than that they apparently used to find people finger in the car when they had got to close.
Shame the heatht and safty couuldn't have been imporved and the series continued it the best racing realy.
The fuel pumps is under the rear seats it sounds more like the relay wheich are next to the battery under a plastic cover maybe at fault they can fail a bit.
Steve your pump should be fine stock pump has 120 liter an hour capacity which is about 330hp. Anyway you can upgade to an mitsubishi evo...
GT_gaz as one of them from BB which will be much the same. I do't know of nayone with the k-tec one best do a search.
They probably do a bit of both at low throttle gives more mpg and full throttle more power.
It won't gove much more power though more midrnage and since its not custom made it...
