Yep its worth it, bit more feedback from the wheel, just remember you'll wear out the bearings quicker (but none know how much shorter as none had any failures realy)

8mm square sump nut. halford etc have them for sale only cheap.

best shop around see who has them on offer. Only Renault has them in the correct offset the rest are slgihty out. (it no problee though)
