Stock dampers arn't that good best get mathing dampers and springs and if preferably coilovers and you can go as low as you want realy.
FK coilover will let you lower the car so that the wheel cracks the arches at the front and destroys your arch liner at the fornt and destroy your arch liner...

All parts are the same price assuming
1) You havn't seduced/made friends with the pereosn bhind the counter so they have put you down as a trader (cheaper parts)
2) They are using the most up to date software.
Steves car is stripped though so to be fair a scoobie should be stripped.
I'd feel a lot safer with a 350hp scoobie than a 250hp 172 reliability and driveabilty wise.

Gaz coilovers are very hard ride and the shock won't win any awards for cumfort or use.

So long as its had its 36k I'd not bother mayabe bleed the brakes but thats it.

It can be remapped its the 210hp claims which won't be true you'd get maybe 5hp at best from a remap on a stock engine you need cams realy to get over 200hp or throttle bodies etc.

172 Cup box has an output for the speddo. Cars with ABS use the ABS sensors for speedo but since the 172 Cup didn't have ABS the gearbox had to be adapted.
