182 Cup spec suspension has the new front dampers all others 172 Cup/172 full fat/182 none cup packed) have the old 54mm hubs.
The new 182 Cup hubs are 58mm so you need to drill the bolt holes out a bit bigger.
I'd trust Renault more than mates unless they've been Renault trained personally.
Aux belt powers the power stearing the aircon if fitted coolent, alternator everything but the cams realy.
Renytech you'd have to ask possibly £150 for the belt along its a pain of a job the bumper and light have...
Pro silkline 5-40 is a popular choice.
Ype you need a new sump washer otherwsie it will leak out. £1.10 from Renault or about the same probably at Halfords but I think you get a new sump nut as well (not that you need one though).
I used 10-60 now instead of 10-40 and its much better on track oil pressures are much better instead of 1 bar there now at 2.5 constant and temsp seem a few degrees lower.
The 172/182's can use upto a 15-60 oil if you want but that would be in hot climates for track use IMO. But Renault say it...
There more important things that outright power on the track my cars got about 180hp and is faster than a Skyline on track.
You maybe able to bore it out to 1.8 but the costs stupid £1k for a proper boreout then £400 for pistons the headwork and cams have to be done to be worth anything on the...
4 pots are for proper fast cars ie the Mk1's the mk2 owners sem to want to look like us though.
There about £350 for the kits all in. You don't need the bigger fancy disks.
You don't need fancy stuff its only trouble and no better. Get the k-tec big disk conversion if you want something which looks better.
Forget the back brake conversion its not worth the hastle plus I prefere drums and ther fine for track use on cars with over 200hp
I don't see Morego making 200hp for that price your looking at about £2.5k for 200hp+ Maybe a good car would make that but thats not the adverage car.
There loads of different levels of tunning to get you to 200hp though or more depends what you want ie N/A going to a proper throttle body turbo...
Depends how you want to run it. Run throttle bodies and you don't need any more bits.
If you want to keep stock setup you'll need the looms. Then you need to sort out the ECU, UCH and Keys or a combination and some new ones from Renault.
Prices will drop as low as the market dicatates prices will drop more though its just like any car maybe they won't loose as much value as they.
The Cup doesn't have the zeons but its still got most of the toys and the electronics are still a huge issue get a Mk1 if you want something with less...
Stock disk from any car parts forget the fancy looking stuff they only cost more give no more stopping power wear quicker and crack. About £50~60 your looking at paying make sure you get the 259mm one Halfords etc usually try and sell you the 239mm stuff which won't fit regardless of what the...
The toe in is the amount the wheels point inward if you think of looking at the car from above the the wheels can be like this / \ or like this \ / or ¦ ¦ . This is called the tow in basically the front is adjustable via the stearing arms. Your front passengers side was pointing...
