Err its big money best talk to Mike/GDI/Yozzasport/AWT for a better idea but I'd think £9k wouldn't be far off.
440hp at the moment I think lowered CR pistons etc.
The crusie control just won't work you culd wire the switch to do somehting else if you wanted.
Dead easy to chnge
Turn stearing wheel 90 degres
Unplug battery and leave for half an hour (best be safe)
The two clips behind the wheels will remove the airbag.
With the airbag remove unplug it...
You'll have the 58mm shocks I'd say with 99% certainty.
You can tell the difference between the shocks though if you know what your doing 6mm (or even 4mm as there are 54mm shocks) is quite a bit.
When warm 3.5 bar at 3k
1.5 bar at idle.
Best thing to check for rust and the electrics work you'll never know if you have a good one some just have more issues than others.
Next belt chnaged is at 120k.
Not sure what temsp but about 80~90 running round anything much over 110 though and I'd...
It doesn't matter modifying a Williams personaly some will say it affects value I don't see it Ok selling one with big wheels and a huge exhaust won't help the value bit if its in good condition then thats much more important.
The Williams is a great car I love driving it its just the little things that can be problems and no warently would put me off having one as an only car. If you get a good car then you can use them forever with no problems.
Personally I'd be tempted to look at a Willimas as so many people make...
You cannot tell the difference height wise the full fat has 10mm tolerance on the suspension from its normal height . The Cup has 5mm tolerance up and down and the Cup is 3mm lower so you could at the extrem of suspensions have a full fat 12mm lower than a cup if the full fat was down on its...
Usualy you have other lights coming on at thge same time as the Serv light.
My car randomly throws a serve light after its been parked up after a fast drive (about 3 times in its life) there no problem I think its just a Renault thngies. However check your oil as this is likly to be the main...
The extra weight and small increase in power (to 192hp) will be counteracted by the new 6 speed close ratio box. 0-60 time won't be much off but it will be quicker in gear as its got a bit more torque (10NM) and the ratios will help keep the engine in the power band.
£1.5k for the bits (minus VAT) from j3ned on here then you need to get it all fitted. Fitting costs would be about £1~1.5k from a garage if they would do it but with the right toools you could do it yourself its just takes time wiring it all in.
Getting more power isn't cheap a 172 transplant has always been the best power upgrade its £1.5k for all the bits you need (minus VAT) then you've just got to wire it all in.
Its the violet one
The yellow one is the fuse one
The connectors are labeled though have a look at the photo you've posted you can see the number on the sie of the connector block.
one three five seven
Clip bit here two four six eight
This is a basic...
Best idea would be to use the speed sensor fom the normal steroe wiring loom which goes to the back of the stereo.
The speed sensor wire is the track one on the black connector block on the stereo.
I like it just a shame some of the good bits have gone like the seats which looks more revolutionary and a good way of showing the uniqueness of Renault with the demise of the V6 type car. Shame about those 4 pots though.
Power is 198 or more likly 192hp. I'm guessing its going to be called the...
The V6 is more of a looks car than track performance and its only a bit of space so for a day to day car a 172/182 is better. The roofs don't leak though.
Dampers are fixed on all the 172/182 cars. Aftermarket ones are availibel which are adjustable.
The 182 got good reviews leading to its...
The electric oil indicator isn't that accurate do a proper check.
Sounds like one of your ABS sensors might be damaged. You might need to go to Renault to get them to have your computer checked for fault logs.
The rsi won't be that much easier to work on
A good valver if you can find one can be very reliable and cheap its just luck though.
Rust on the arches at the back is the big problems along with rust and crash damage claso check the chassic of the ca for rust as this can be a big killer...
MK1 172 Lightweight car similar to a Cup but with air con etc
MK2 172 Often refered to as full fat it got a shorter ratio box to help get the say 0-60 speeds as it got a bit heavier.
172 Cup A cut down specification more "hard core" car it has different springs and an adjusted suspension...
There 3 typres best way to check is to measure them stick the wheel on full lock and measure the distance between the two bolts on the strut. Most mk 2 phase 2 cars are 58mm though. Renault can tell which you have though on the system.
Thats a load of cobblers there 60mm springs (along with all...
