Yep the adjustable Spax RSX kit will fir the dci. All the Mk2 2 Clios though usuauly share 58mm hubs there only a few 1.2 who don't have it.
Best idea would be to get a kit desinged for the 1.4/1.6 dci over a universal none RS kit but the difference won't be huge.
I think its great that this forum has a load of people who enjoy performance from there cars like I do over exterier modification. However I don't have anything agianst people who do put neons etc on there car its your car you do what you like to it if its not to my taste but I can offer advice...
I wouldn't buy anything for the Clio that Gaz have made.
There Mk1 Williams (and I expect 1.8 16V) are so badly designed that they dent the front bonnet seriously.
Another forum member on here has Gaz coilovers on his Mk2 Cup and he didn't rate them very highly.
You won't get 10hp from a chip or remap 2~3 at best. Most of the aftermarket stuff makes little difference so having exhaust etc won't amke any difference realy. There are some groupN ecu whihc are mappe for exhaust etc best talk to the seller. I;d go for aan aftermarket ecu if i were you there...
Porbably not its not in the easiest of places to get to. Its worth a try jacking the car up put it on stands and try and get to it but since you need to do this anyway there no reason not to try and do it quicker.
Its quite promounced so I cannot see any evidence of them doing so.
Worst thing IMO is the fact that they still havn't redesigned them after all this time.
A whole new chassic and sheel is £1.2k or you can buy a whole cup racing rolling shell for £3k I think there one for sale on racecars.com at the moment.
It looks like a rightoff for sure the front end damage is to much its usually over 60% the value of the car.
When you start adding up the...
Take it to any good gargae and get them to do the tracking on it. What sort of tyre wear issues where there? Any good garage with the tools can do it its not a huge job. Expect to pay about £30~40.
Yep Luners right I've got Gaz on my Williams and they damage the bonnet. Best idea is to stick some material under the strut about 3.5 inchs in diameter with a 2 inch diameter hole which helps lift them up slightly.
I use the cheapest local dealership and there not that bad but then again i do a lot of extra maintaince on the car. I've got a fully Renault warently so if the engine does blow up as they stuck the wrong oil in then they can pay for a new one.
Competition Car insurance 0115 941 5255
Graham Sykes 0845 1300 231
Keith Michael's Insurance 0870 8453333
There are three insurers who will cover you for a roll cage.
As friction said there the same cars front end you'll have to pay a fair bit for the parts though. The cup racers did these conversions it was something like £1k in parts and that didn't include lights or painting
Sounds like the pads might be gone its easy to check just take the wheel off and have a loot there a guide on the forum of how to change them.
If you've had any trouble with the brakes ie fade I'd go with new pads (dc2500) and new disks as well (best bed the new pads to new disks). if not I'd...
Theres two Cup packs for the 182. The 182 has both Cup packs but misses zeons and climate and the seats are different I think.
One of the cup packs is for the front splitter and bigger rear spolier.
The other pack consists of the 3mm lower ride height (makes no difference since tolerances are...
Strip the car out totally interier and exterier wise will help with speed but its noiser.
Engine modifications arn't cheap the engine not the best of starting pont decat and full exhaust + cold air induction kit etc won't get much more power for the cost. I'd go for better suspension first...
What sort of voltage etc do they require? Do you need/ do you have an adapter to convered the car battery power to run the lights or can you get away with using the cigarette lighter to power then.
Regards fitment it depends where you want to mount them I'd personally be tempted to make sure...
There isn't one for the 172.
There is one for the Mk2 2 Clio though.
There are some Renault manuals though about parts for the 172 Clio which people who have a copy of Renault computer software which tells you about some of the technical stuff and fixing the 172.
I've only a few time let my tank run empty and I could tell the difference (with just 65hp you can tell almost any change but I pefere a full tank to keep the back a bit more stable.
Yep your car with shocks and springs is superb a better track car and fast road car and I'd take your car over a springs only 182 however the 182 was good with just springs. However from what I remember I think the 182 with just springs is better than a 172 with just springs. Your car and Omars...
Anyone who calims to get 8% more power from the stock 172/182 engine or any N/A engine must have a dodgy set of rollers. On a 172/182 on a stock engine you'll get maybe 3hp more.
£100 sounds very cheap they won't be custom maps I've even question where they get there maps from.
Its easy to change 1/2 or so once you know what to look for.
Something like £80 from Renault for the whole thing I think (I don't think you can buy the lens seperate).
I've never heard of the problem its unusal though. have you tried bleeding the brakes? Although saying that I don't know why that would happen. Are you disks rusting?
You should have heard the history my cars had in its first year, it was almost written off and spent about 5 month in dealerships being fixed. Its been fine though apart from that (sunroof rattles though).
Don't let it get you down go out an enjoy the car. Thats what there there for. (Renault...
Its the second decat sensor the sensors detect it the cat reading arn't different enough. If you decat you should unplug the second sensor regardless.
You need a Renault dealership or a garage with the equipment to remove the fault and the light from the ECU. Then remove the ecu sensor or least...
