£1.5k for the bits (minus VAT) from j3ned on here then you need to get it all fitted. Fitting costs would be about £1~1.5k from a garage if they would do it but with the right toools you could do it yourself its just takes time wiring it all in.

yeah not many peaple have the right tools to do it though, helps if you know a few mechanics or people who can help you with it or do it for you, is it worth it really as a mk1 172 is about 3500 if you can find a cheap one

edde when you say wiring it all in how do you mean?i pm's the guy that sells all the bits and he never got back to me was wondering if you new what bits it is that he includes in the price?i mean the only way i've heard of is to get a donor car and swap the full wiring looms an swap the full bits,basically swapping the 1.2 shell onto the 2 litre mechanicals

you need to swap the inside and engine loom so the whole dash has to come out its took me months to get mine working proper thats including the electric power steering and abs with a cup engine

Sort of, you do need a load of bits but its not the whole car just cartain looms.
Best ring matt (j3ned) as he buys the crashed cars take the bits you need and sells them he's always very busy so best give him a call if your serious about it. He misses PM's so don't be put off by him not answering he's not doing it on purpose.
