What about a diesel Clio or Fabia VRS?
Even if your only driving back and forth to work youll save about £600/yr on fuel a Clio will save you about 50% on servicing costs since it only neeeds servicing ever 18k. Insurance will be less and you should be able to pick up a 65hp dci with a Yrs...
Its about £80 for a new key and for it to be programmed, only Renault can do it.
Did you only have one key with the car form new? Its should have two keys might well be worth getting Renault to check how many keys are autorised to work on the car and have any extra keys removed.
Your biggest problems/weeknesses? with the Cup seem IMo to be the suspension and the aftermarket exhaust. Did you look at a 182 with Cup stuff?
When its going to be remapped?
They do look very good though and grown up if that makes some sence (maybe as its got 5 doors).
I wouldnt suspect so. The Mk2 Clios seem to have an unusal thing thats some run this size disk and some ie mine run the 260mm disk.
Pm me the detail from your oval plate (found on the drivers door) particularly the detail whoich read F325978 or whatever as I can find out which size it is or...
Its a push on fit the gearnob (not exactly designed to be swopped). To get the old one off is difficult you have to cut it of or give it some real stick with some mole grips.
The claimed drops springs give bear no resembelence to real life figures mine only ~40mm lower than it was before and its on 60mm coilovers. However compaired to the Clio I saw today (02 reg dynamique) it would be bout 80mm lower with the kit.
Tolerances in to suspension are usually about 1cm...
The version 48 of the CD ie two Cds previously has the Mk2 V6 data on it as far as I know.
Sounds like the dealers a little slow have you tried another dealership?
try and set it off leave the winodws open and climb in and shake the car and make noise in it.
Does it have any sensors though on the windscreen pillars or a flashing light down on the center console near the gear stick? If not then its probably not got an alarm.
The 1.2 Clios is infact 1149cc but its called a 1.2 for some reason.
I think its like BMW saying the 318 it should/used to mean a 3 series with a 1.8 engine but its infact 1.9 I belive. Same for the 535d its a 3.0 liter diesel.
The new shape came in on a the Y plates hence why Evo had a Y...
Be careful though that A483 is where the police hang out loads of people have been caugt out there popular place is the flyover bridge just before the road bends round and goes up the hill to Wrexham. Ive seen the police there a few times, ever time Im doing more than 70 it seems but Im not...
Its its going up and down on its own its nothing to do with the runners sounds like motors/wiring/UCH is bust.
UCHs have failed before when they get water on them sound like this might be happening.
Might be worth pulling the fuse on the windows.
Sounds like youve soaked the lambeda sensor possibly spraying water up the exhaust.
If you want just unplug the sensor and tape the connection us and you wont have the problem (its the issue decat owners have often).
10 times the power
10 times the MPG.
No rattles craks etc.
Softer ride.
Better cornering.
Higher of the ground.
But more importantly better feedback from the wheel and more ccurate stearing.
I think the oil leak was down to the VVT timing cam which wasnt fiddled with by them. But there attitude to the fault, as always continues there bad reputation.
Are you sure its not from under the passengers dash? The electics for the car are stored there and the relays can click on and off with the auto wipers etc its just normal Clio.
By the way use Speed six in Wrexham the other local dealers are usless. (Ive tried them all).
Thats junction is...
I wouldnt trust Renault to be any better than Quick fiit, if anything Quick fit will probably be better that Renault.
Try any local garage they can usually do a check for you for £20~35 and much better than Quick fit or Renault.
Yep they still make them they have to keep making them till 10yrs (I think its 10) after he car has finished production.

Ok Ill reword that. Younger drivers (by proportion) are more likely to have lowered cars and crash more (hence why we pay more insurance) as we drive with less risk/less skill/less experiance and at high speed than older drivers/ stock ride height car drivers as we want to enjoy (subjective as...
Not much they do change the oil and filter check bits over and thats about it.
Coolent isnt chnaged till 5yrs or err lot of miles (I forget the figure).
As for the power stearing bottle just check it youself they should have though. Just remove the top of it and have a check.
