The Mk1 and Mk2 have there own advanatages and disadvantages.
Personally Id go for a late Mk2 with cruise otherwise it would be an Mk1 as they dont have the electronic throttle bodies or UCH which are possible areas for problem needing Renault (expensive) help to fix. Also the Mk1 is lighter...
Ok you have a problem with your car since you set the airbags off youll have to make a choice.
1) Replace the airbag computer then either replace the airbags set off or stick resisters in the setup.
2) Remove the bulb/ wire from the dashboard (Its track ten on the grey connector)
Theres no...
Everything comes unpainted so you have to add that cost on.

Hayney have apparently released a new shape Hayney manual Freds seen one but no one knows it exists.
Most of the bits htough are very similar to the last shape 98-2001 ones so buying one of those books is good enough.
Yep soory I relaise he cannot post on his original name. Have you banned he IP or the user as he could just make another user?
Late 2006 is the RS out isnt it say Sept time for the new registrations? Im thinking of keeping my dci till them and changing to one and would like to know when to...
If turbo 200 has it at work how come other Renault employees on the site havnt mentioned it even on the quiet?
Also Renault dont have a repuatition for releasing stuff early onto the dialogues early though even if they did why release the info this early? After all Renault techs will go on...
Coilover it.
There quite a few choice the extra wieght of the dci/1.4/1.6 doesnt seem to matter much realy, but some companies do have 1.4/dci/1.6 different springs at the front to help.
Dont go over to petrol power its devils fuel I tell you.
Your coilover choice is either H and R, Apex...
The next clio is rumoured to be lighter and better handling and under 200hp never mind what Minis etc have the Clio is much cheaper car.
192 would be a good guess though and theres no problem deisgning over 200hp from the car without a turbo.
You shouldnt need an engineers report if you do what do they define as an engineer? Also what blame do they place on an engineer saying its ok, Id sign it off if there no blame as I have some engineering experiance, but I dont think anyone would sign it cheaply if they have to definatly say its...
A stock 172/182 will get beaten on a track by Freds 1.2 assuming the same driver in both cars. Anyway hp isnt everything even the all fabed stripped out Williams can when being raced on the track get overtaken by a lowly dci Ive seen it happen no funny engine mods just suspension work.
Anyway...
Its a part of the windscreen where the anti glare isnt fitted so you can fit items which need unrestricted access ie toll road devices or in the case of the Uk aftermarket say nav stuff.
The normal Renault sat nav works though the an aerial in the back of the car nothing to do with the space...
Dnt buy it if you want one spend a few pence down the local electrical shop on a resiter it will do the same job.
It will damage youe engine by making the mixture to rich.
They have been posted about before.
The stock setup has its advanatges is smooth and gives a stable drive.
Ive got a coilover kit now fitted to my car though and the ride a touch to hard possibly for long drives the springs dont move much so the car isnt as smooth on uneven roads (I live in the country so that most roads I had...
Freds car does have quite a few different bits. But it has been proved to beat 2.0 owners.
He has ~82hp (or so) custom coilovers and slicks for the track.
Its the common problem the drum brakes suffer from.
Theres a tech note for it (called 4156A) Renault will fix it under warently it takes 2.7hrs although its not huge problem.
If you want a copy of the tech note PM me your email address.
Stick a correct sized resister in the wiring for the airbags and the light will not come on.
I think the stearing wheel is 4.6 ohms and the side is any value between 1.8 and 6.5 (or 4.5) ohms.
Ill do a check though.
Group 3 for the 1.2 and 4 for the dci.
The dci is in my mind the better engine its down a few HP over the 1.2, but in normal driving its the better engine. The 1.2 is only good when you absoulty hammer it IMO plus the 1.2s have a good sized folder of problems the only common problems with the...
There no need to change the oil and filter early.
If I were buying a 182 with the intention of keeping it for 10yrs or so then Id change the oil after 100 miles if at all.
Any dealership should be able to fix it its a tech note written on it saying how to fix it.
Take it to any other dealership and they should be able to do it for you.
Im not sure what he was on about thee boot being made of tinfoil. My car seems better put together than the Yaris Ive been in and people rave about there quality.
You dont need to upgrade. The stock disk are fine you can get them for £65 or so from Fred or other places all these vented etc disks are a waste of time IMO they wont make nay difference.
As for pads well there not to expensive and there tones of choice. Best do a serch for pad recomendations...
