Sounds like you might have formatted the hard drive to 32 bit or something and there no way back then.
The Renault dialogues are so bad Renault dont use it on PCs only Macs (as thats what its designed to run on).
Id personally Id go for a Mk1 less electrics to go wrong and there very cheap the saved money (youd be talking a few K) would easily cover any repairs etc.
Otherwise Id look at a high milage later Mk2 the engine very relaible, only think to check that its been serviced and preferably had its...
Nope so long as the problem takes more than 24hrs to fix they give you a car and insure it.
They can have problems with under 21yr olds and I usualy insured it with my own insurance company when I was under 21 for free whever I need one. However it is an oblication of the Renault 3 yr warently...

Best thing about CS is the fact you can have a wider variety of new Clio owners, people who own new V6 and new 1.2s there massively differnet in price and age/maturity usually and there still members also you have classics
Corsas for example dont have 172/182 equivalents or V6s especially. So...
Youd be adding oil all the time yep I know. However thats the tolerance. If your car burns that amount or less its deemed as OK but they would look at it and try and rectify it unless they couldnt find any reasonable reason then theyll say its within spec.

1. Is it ok to drive it as fast as my mate did often? Yep so long as its warm the engine ie the temp gage has been in the middle for a few miles then its fine. Just be careful of the licence.
2. Ive been using super-unleaded and normal...
Have a look on the net there loads of links on here do a search a 182 CUps are quite cheap for a few k more brand new which are an option.
Thers someone selling a 182 with Cup suspension for £9995 on the forum (have a look on the for sale section) its been there for a while so might take a...
Renault dont know how you drive the car the ECU doesnt keep logs like a Porsche etc. Best give the car some stick dealers/manurfacturers dont care about power mpg or oil burn, only warently claims and crashes so tell us to go easy. Since the car will most likly break in the first few k they tell...
There attitude completly depends where you go. One local dealership ignore me and barely give me a brocure the other let me out for a brief test drive with the salesman. I just made something up abotu wanting a change realy and the 182 had good reviews.
The mk1 has the manual throttle body so the cable might need some oil on if its squeeking. The problem with the 172 engine is that the aux belt tigthener can squeek, the only option is to replace the belt tensioner and you might as well change the aux belt as well then and it wont be that cheap...
You should get a cortesy car if Renault cannot fix the problem within 24hrs or something like that (check the book) but thats only the offical words Ive always had courtesy cars though however long it takes to fix.
It should be covered under warently.
The problem is people dont post on here saying the cars are great, they post how to fix problems.
Loads of people have had almost no problems beyond the normal ones of the seat pretentioner wiring breaking and the brake pedal sensor being set wrongly.
I wouldnt worry about it at all.
It might do, the sensors are way to sensitive as normal Renault will under warently swop the wire of the sensor round to the sensitivity is reduced.
Most Clios with alarms have had this problem.
Check the connectors on the bonnet. Also make sure the air vents arnt pointed at the sensors or open.
The alarms can be very sensative its a common problem Renault have a fix just to swop the wires over to drop the sensitivity down.
