I mapped a car with pipers in after the original map done on it was shockingly bad. I mapped a car this week with 438's, and must say they were very nice, took off at 5000rpm, died off a little at 7200 (this'll be due to the adjusted timing to achieve the better idle) 421's do the same but...

I personally wouldn't suggest fitting the front wishbone kit. It's a designed fail point in a crash, and in a crash with that fitted instead of it being a wishbone and subframe, it'll end up being a shell. The cup racers ran full slicks and stock wishbones...

Check the fan is getting power to start with.

If it's over heated whilst travelling along then there are bigger issues than the fan.

IME, pipers aren't worth the money. No more aggressive than 197 cams. 421's are possible on a stock ecu, just needs a raised idle. 420's waste of time. 428's same as the pipers.

Sadly there's far too many possibilities. Start basic, checking earth and voltage supplies and work from there.

Ph2 172's have DBW throttle too.

Cup clocks won't work in a ph1.

The Britool guy won't stock genuine Renault tools. Any other brand WILL NOT do it properly. They will bend or even not fit. You're looking at over £150 for all 3 parts (technically you need 4 as there is a different part you need for 1 tool)

Yeh it's all good, hangs a little low as it's not a whiteline item. Was certainly going well though, was only on PE2's too!
