    I doubt you'd need that. They don't bottom out on anything. Unless it's cross threaded you'll be able to twist it out with your fingers alone.

    It will need a lot more fuel. Running it how you have been will have potentially damaged the engine.

    Spot welds won't hold as Martin says. If it's seam welded it will.

    Never had a recon one, new were about £260 last time I bought one. But you need to press the flange off the old pump. 100% not a job for someone with just a halfords tool kit as it has to be pressed on to the new pump to a certain depth.

    100% new aux belt kit. It's just not worth the risk. £56 saving, when it lets go runs into £1000+ bill. You only need to remove the alt to get to the pump, bit of jiggling and it'll come out.

    Well the torque figure is very optimistic, but the roller sync has been calibrated wrong. So the readout is worth less than the paper it's printed on.

    that's not the bonnet pin switch. It goes to the acoustic valve.

    Take the switch apart, it's a rocker switch with 2 springs inside, you can bend the spring to enable it to lock again.

    Nah it's not the alt top bolt as that's threaded all the way. Not Scott has pointed out, I'm 100% that is the lower cambelt cover.
