    That's just showing you the level it's have something like OIL OOOOOO For full, or OIL OOO--- for half way or OIL ------ and flashing meaning its low.

    It can be a few things, try changing the gearbox oil first. If this doesn't change it, then you'll be looking at a box or clutch. What oil light comes on? Red oil can? When its running or just when the ign is on?

    No. Do it properly. Get it booked in at birch down for belts and a rocker seal. You need special tools to do the cambelts.

    Piston rings weren't sealing, so it was sucking oil up past them and blowing combustion past pressurising th crank case his blowing oil out the breather

    So quick update, the engine decided to become an oil pump, and emptied the sump into the catch can/out of the exhaust in 5 miles. Queue the impromptu engine change... At mid day on Tuesday. Old.. 1145pm: And then a lot of this yesterday afternoon...
