Fred doesn't do airbag reconfigure apparently. Mick at diamond motors does. Or I do.'but your airbag ecu has been configured incorrectly, or had a replacement one that's not from a cup.

the second connection by the battery is nothing to worry about, will be for equipment that's not fitted.
as karol has stated, the 1 wire to the alternator is just the exciter, so perfectly normal.
tbh, you need to take it to someone who has the correct...
The tri angled cup slots back in, may need a bit of GENTLE persuasion (I use a rubber mallet) then ther will be a groove that it slots into. There will also be a thrust washer that goes between the 2. I'd advise getting th bolt in plate from eBay and fitting that. But I have welded a few myself...
